Strawberry/Rhubarb is my favorite pie. The Rhubarb is not always easy to find. It grew in our backyard in Michigan when really small.

My favorite is cherry. We had 2 cherry trees growing up and every summer, we picked cherries until they were all gone. Pitted them and then froze them. BUT, a couple of fresh pies were always made. Serve warm with homemade vanilla ice cream. That is what summer was all about!

Megan,the pies all look amazing👍🏻 I know you mentioned your on a no sugar , no wheat this year. I’d love you to try to bake a Keto Pie, no sugar and usually Almond or coconut flours. I’ve seen several RU-vid channels that have baked pies that look good but it would be fun to see if you who likes a challenge , might try one this year😊

I seem to remember you said in the very beginning no coconut? My favorite pie is coconut cream. I'm a snob about it. It has to be REALLY good with the 7-minute mile-high meringue on top NOT the whipped cream piped. Would love to see your interpretation of the ultimate coconut cream pie :)

if you like this one, try nigella lawson version. its the salted chocolate tart, also in an oreo crust. its just slightly different with a few more flavour enhancing tweaks.

When you were making this, I thought raspberry would be a good add to it, and then you said raspberry 😋 yup raspberries and a little whipped cream 😋 yummy. This looks really good. I saw a recipe for a sausage gravy, biscuit pie 🥧 sounded good, and it would be a breakfast pie.

How about a pork loin & mushroom type of savory pie? Have no idea if it exists, but I’m feeling nostalgic for my favorite meal that my grandma made which was pork loin with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and cauliflower.

I saw an interesting pie in a cookbook called transparent pie. It is like a clear gelatin pie similar to lemon meringue. Emmymade did a version of it. We used to make a fluffy cool whip type pie with pieces of jello in it called crown jewel pie and my mom used to make an oreo pie: oreo crust with fluffy whipped cream/cream cheese filling with oreos mixed in.

What do think of making the crust with nutter butter cookies, would that be good? My nephew leaves for his mission in a couple weeks and LOVES chocolate and peanut butter, I thought it would be a nice going away dessert.

Have you ever had a saltena? It's a Bolivian hand pie, like an empanada but way better in my opinion. A saltena pie would be amazing or just make the hand pies (they still count as a pie right?). The dough is made with lard and has achiote in it which makes it a yellow color. Personally, the achiote is a must but it can be made without it if you can't find it. They bring back childhood memories for me.

Megan, the amount of justification I am making to drop everything and make this pie STAT is ridiculous!😂 My only saving grace is I don’t have any Oreos on hand. I know this pie is amazing without even trying it because, we too have made the s’mores pie more than a handful of times this year already. (It’s THE requested dessert for birthdays at our house.)

On my husbands iPad. I would just like to say ----your hair flying around like this doesn’t seem to be a good thing. Pulled back is much more the way that hair will not have a tendency to fall into your baking or cooking. Thank you for how I am thinking.
