Why are the Nigerian media so particular about options to get him out, including intervention by the Nigerian state? Do you, bribe-receiving journalists of Nigeria, understand that he committed a SERIOUS CRIME and deserves to be punished? Do you people at all feel outraged by crime and criminals? You people make me sick, honestly.

The sentence is not long enough for the crime they have committed. It should've been at least 20 yrs plus. They're wicked

Somthing bothers me about Nigerians. We rejoice at the downfall of our brother or sister. Yes, he did wrong but the same Nigeria helped him to become a bad leader. Why? Because many don't tell them the truth. They praise sing to them. They flatter them. Yes, he's down but he's not dead yet. I don't know him but we too dey love to destroy our own. Donald Trump said it and it's true. Give a black man gin, he will.kill.his brother with it.

I agree, although he will probably serve only half of it, on good behavior. Prisoners in Uk, can have there sentences reduced, if they keep in line, and keep there heads down.

The 3 of them should have been given a 10 year sentence each
@billneath3273

They also shouldn't be getting any early release from their sentences on parole or special license

Beatrice is used to telling people what to do and ordering them around, we'll she's in for a bloody big shock now, she's going to a jail where she will be ordered about and told when and what to do

Your interest in the release of the convict shows that you are paid to find a way for his release. Unfortunately, laws here do not respect the title, and as a result, Ekweremadu should serve his term in jail.

The 3 of them should be kicked out of the uk and sent back to Nigeria after serving their jail sentences, and they should be permanently banned from entering the UK

The igbo wickedness at play, the igbo doctor was paid 2.5 million naira for the boy he ended up giving the boy 200k, they are their worst enemies. This same Ekweremadu 21 years as a lawmaker nothing for is constituency yet blame Nigeria for their ills.

@billneath3273

Parole isn't or shouldn't happen, as for a pardon that definitely isn't happening. King Charles has already expressed his feelings and views regarding the matter and has said that the whole matter has left a very bad taste in his mouth!

Desperate times, led to desperate measures, and they got caught. Sell your forty homes, and donate the money to hospitals in your country. Why on earth would you need forty homes, pure greed, you committed a crime, now you do the time.

Given that he was a serving Senator, I would have thought he would have had a diplomatic passport, even if the Nigerian High Commission failed to provide Legal representation for the “Rogue” Senator as a Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria…🤔
@boycharlieO
@boycharlieO Год назад
A senator is not a diplomat, and his title does not accord him immunity. Thank God that his act was abroad, where the law is applied equally to all. I pray he served out his 9 years, and when he returns, the sycophants would welcome him on a red carpet and even give him a title.

The 3 of them shouldn't be the problem of the uk authorities, after serving their jail sentences they should all be deported back to Nigeria and banned from the UK. The UK doesn't need 3 individual Scumbags such as them

Any attempt to free this big criminal in London by Nigeria Government, then all other criminals in London prisons must also enjoy same. But what I know is that, forget about the way we corruptly enrich ourselves in this country. LUCKILY WE ARE EQUAL BEFORE ALMIGHTY GOD. People in authorities should know that GOD is seriously looking at us in Nigeria.

To speak out for me "First they came ..." (German: Zuerst kamen sie ...) is the poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984). It is about the silence of German intellectuals and certain clergy-including, by his own admission, Niemöller himself-following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt, repentance, and personal responsibility.
