@@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 Ms.Belinda as it relates to the Bi-Phase Micellar Water do we have to use an (essential oil) with the Symbio Solve or could we use a little (carrier oil) such as Argan or Jojoba oil instead??? Thank U
Hi is there a formula suitable for thinning hair ? My mother is 83 and has high blood pressure. I have looked into some products however there is concern that they might increase blood pressure. Thankyou
You would need to find another natural, volatile ester. There is vegelight 1214 from Grant Industries or Lexfeel WOW, but there are not many natural volatile materials to choose from.
Hello Belinda, the addition of symbio®solv clear plus in the second product, does not make the 2 phases join in an emulsion with the oil phase? How are the 2 phases preserved if there is a surfactant? Thank you. Gabriela
There is not enough surfactant to enable one stable phase to be created - try making a sample and you'll see! The preservative is also effective as it acts in the water phase and there is sufficient present to be effectively preserved. Hope this helps happy formulating!
Hello IPCS.. Thanks for sharing..My Question is.. 1)Please tell me if this needs to be rinsed off with water after use..AND 2) If I make it for eyelash use then ??? is it necessary to change its pH to around 7..would it be stable then..Thankyou.
You wouldn't need to rinse this off after use, but you would need to change the solubiliser used if you want to take the pH that high. The symbiosolv clear plus is not suited to that pH. Hi, Thanks for the helpful videos. what is the excipient you add to the hydrosol? I've heard "cosmos solubilizing material". Since I'm not an English speaker I'm not sure if it's correct. If so, is that a surfactant brand?.Thank you from Peru!
A hydrosol is the water that is collected during the steam distillation process of creating an essential oil - the essential oil is the oil component collected and the hydrosol is the water collected during the distillation process.
