I was a hairstylist for over 40 yrs. Because of the way our society frowns on certain jobs I totally understand why you were embarrassed at the beginning. But let me tell you, those that frown on people like you & me are the very ones who couldn't live without our services. We are actually the glue that holds this world together & we should hold our heads up proudly. You do an amazing job! I'd love to have someone like you take care of my home. Don't ever feel "less than" simply because of another's narrow mind. YOU ROCK!!!!

Never feel ashamed of what you do. You provide a service that is life-changing to people stuck in a rut. Having a clean space can really change your quality of life. And you and your mom are given that gift to people.

I am literally a generational cleaner and I am so proud. I watched my mom work so hard and it inspired me. It's hard work people don't understand how hard it really is and sometimes it's a very thankless job. I am slowly starting out on my own and I am scared but I want a business that I can pass on to my children if they so choose to follow. Wow this may sound odd but I didn't recognize there was a TV on the wall till the part where they started cleaning it 😳 I said wow did they (the cleaning women) mount a TV n there ,then I rewinded the video an saw it was already there an I didn't notice due to the clutterd, now organized, room.. looks great! 🙌..

I worked as a caretaker. My first job was while a student in university, I took care of a woman with dementia. (This woman herself a PhD). I felt greater purpose helping her then with my studies. My father got ill and I had to drop out of schoo. Ironically though, I found it impossible to do the same for my aging father. I have ADHD and I clean my home best when use one of the following techniques: I co-work online Bookend with an accountability partner Set the timer to do short bursts. Watch YT videos Ike this🙋🏻‍♀️ You are pros and good teachers! I like working along with a housekeeper. I just can't afford it very often

I need a cleaner. But so many do it just for money not the love of it. They either half do it or cancel.

I wish i had the energy and motivation of just do it A lot of older ppl say, we young ppl have all the energy to do this n that etc etc. but… the ones i see doing the most and dk how.. is moms and dads at 40’s even up. And iii ask how they keep motive to cook everyday just about and clean too. I’m just not motivated to it but i sure wish i had OCD or something to feel forced to clean etc
