We take so much for granted in the west, specifically America. So much we just don't realize we need to appreciate, like laundry at home. You're so right about that. So many things. Always be grateful for what you do have everyone.
You are absolutely right. We don't know how blessed we are with things until we go without. Being a truck driver has humbled me alot. I see many little things like laundry, bedrooms, running water etc as pure luxuries and such blessings now. It's important to value and care for the things we have not always wish for more more more
I love her appliances. Maybe this was already said, but I'm not going to dive into the comments to see... on the cheap, she could install some outdoor blinds or tapestries to cut down on some of the freeway dust.
You're such a Blessing & lovely "hija". Absolutely right about keeping it clean. We placed our Washer in the garage next to the dryer on wood & plastic pallets due to a disability. With the garage opening n closing, it's exposed to the elements, thus needing a good cleaning. So gracias, it's due for another wipe down, sweep & dust off. Paz be with us all 🙏. "Isa"
It was very rude for someone to say anything about your voice. You cannot please everyone and someone is going to always complaint about something. Do what is best for you. I rather hear your voice with you explaining certain things while you are cleaning.
My friends mom was a house cleaner, her house was never clean 😅 she had 4 kids so I definitely understand after a long day of cleaning other peoples house she was like nahhhh 🙅🏾♀️😂😩
It means alot to be able to wash and dry in your home. I am grateful to be able to do my laundry at home. Your mother is very appreciative of her appliances. Just looking at the way she takes care of the appliances makes her a classy lady and a good mama.
Ollie's has room dividers which may help reduce some dust: if you hung a tarp east facing then you would cut the sun exposure AND reduce dust or wind potentially
Love it but Girl! Get one of those pop up sheds and put it together - then drill out holes in the back. It'll help cut WAY down on that and protect the machines too! ❤️
My mom’s washer is outdoors too. Unfortunately, she doesn’t use it. She’s too used to washing by hand at this point, with rain water. I am lucky to be able to use one indoors. And with the storm, am grateful to have light.
So true. When we first moved in to my childhood home there was no washer or dryer, no laundry room. There was an outdoor wash station that my mom used to wash the clothes by hand. For years she used that and would hang dry the clothes. When it was cold or rainy out and we had some money in the budget we’d go to the laundromat. I still remember her drying some of our clothes in the oven on low heat. We finally got a washer when I was in middle school.
I remember going to the laundry mat to do the familys laundry from middle school til i moved out. I was so stoked recently to buy my first washer and dryer as an adult last year yes its second hand yes its not as fancy as these but hey being able to use my legs to walk to a laundry mqt and have access to use a washer and dryer is a lot more than a lot of people have. I now know how blessed i was and especially how blessed i am still. God is good :)
