Damn man, I miss the 90’s and early 2000’s so much. Such a Lit time. It’s depressing knowing things will never be that great again with the way the politics have spread into everything like cancer. I’m just grateful to have amazing memories from those decades.
Me, too!! Way more creative than the rap now. And we wore regular clothes for the most part. We weren't frontin and lying. It was on purpose that it changed.
I’m an old head but yet Drink Champs MC Serch brought me here. That’s what I love about my era. There was so much great lyricists that almost 30 years after the fact I can still find something that I missed back then and appreciate it in 2021.
I Love the 1990s This was my Jawn along with another a song that was one of the biggest hits songs of all time that used this same beat by Naughty By Nature Uptown Anthem. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
pharoahe is hands down the most underrated rapper of all time. I cant tell u how many times I've asked heavy rap fans if they like him n have no idea who he is. drives me mad
It’s been almost 3 decades since Organized Kunfusion recorded Fudge Pudge. This track is riddled with a timeless piano riff and acoustic bass line. This group held their own on on this track. However, Organized Konfusion brought on OC to flex his rhythm skills on Fudge Pudge. He would eventually go on to team up with legendary producer DJ Premier to record the ground breaking album Jewelz.
91'! This the year I was born but this is the type of music I love. The golden era of hip hop/rap was the shit everything was so smooth & rough ,rugged & raw. I wish we had music like this now cause this new mess sucks
When I was in middle school my Aunt would make me mad Hiphop CDs and When I heard this track for the first time 😮😮😮😮😮Man I scratched up the CD Legit Cuz I replayed tf outta this joint and it was only Track 3😂!!! That Intro Piano then the lyrics 💯💯💯
@@CrowdPleeza DJ Premier himself basically said in an interview the era of ‘79-‘94 is SOLID. Can’t go wrong. Most of the stuff afterwards is questionable.
I remeber when i see this on VMB, I ran to buy two 12" vinyl singles ..man i think Prince Po started that dance lol..and P monche and his jeans tucked in the boots had caught in huge in NYC..Some of my Fav MCs growing up in the 90's son!!
Me bro this my shit , I super crazy over this song. I had my British walkers and my mart neck. We still rocking all this in Newark NJ we still bout it.
Took a full week of digging but I finally found a perfect digital copy of this album. Can't believe you gotta pay $200 just to get the CD. This gotta be one of the most rare hip-hop albums of all time.
This is about 20 years old, and very few MC's today have skills as good as them. In fact, I really can't call too many of them true MC's. Hip hop is suppose to evolve, instead it has been dumbed down.
I got a massive smile on my grill cos this kind of Hip Hop is what I grew on , and after watching some of the WACK 2011 BET Cyphers I'm ingesting as much hip hop like this as I can to flush out that garbage
Of course you won't see another wu-tang or tribe etc. And I'm glad. When I wanna listen to those legends, I listen to them, period. Don't search for them in other artists because you won't find them. The legacy will move on and there will be the birth of new greats. Of course there's wack stuff out there, always has, always will be
Damn CLASSIC, I was a senior in High School when this Jam came out. My brother drove a yellow Ford Tempo (LOL), and we use to bump this joint all day everyday.
Sony digital walkman, walking to work & school. Compton CA, 1989, I'm 19 Organized, Native Tongues, black medallions. I walked through murderous hoods to get where I needed to be. Got chased a few times. This type of HIP HOP helped me. Even today, I still vibe on repeat.
I like this! I remember seeing an album by these guys back in the day, but never heard anything by them. From what I've read, they never really were able to get the promotion they needed despite dropping 3 albums within a decade and going their seperate ways. Don't recall this video either, but I saw so many rap videos in those days, I can't recall them all.
This an absolute classic. Pretty sure this was in my head everyday for like a month in 8th grade 1992. Loved the album too-92. Miss these days of hip hop. I’m white too lol

I hate to admit this. I grew up in this hip hop era but i didn't catch on to this group until 2017...when i did i kept asking myself how did i miss this
