"Stress" was Organized Konfusion only 1994 single of off the critical acclaimed "Stress: The Extinction Agenda" album. Buckwild from the D.I.T.C crew. was responsible for the songs production.
Pharaoh Monch is one of the most underrated in the game. It's amazing how much better he has gotten over time especially since he was a beast even then.
Pharaohe Monch I swear isn’t human! As he gotten older I wouldn’t fuck with him in a cypher 🤣! You gotta have balls to step in the same cypher as him. I swear he a gem 💎
94....where even the mainstream hip-hop was dope. It's unbelievable today how much good music was out there back then. The whole Yo! MTV Raps was dope from start to end. The fashion, computer games, the whole culture was dope. We hit the bottom since then.
"You will now consider me the apocalyptic one After this rhyme, henceforth, there is none NO more will exist, when I emerge From the mist in whence I was born into, scorned Most of you can't even comprehend what I am saying to you even in my human form the message I'm relaying."
I'm 41, and was blessed to have a grandma that had BET but not MTV. So I grew up with this music in the 90s. Anyone ever mind fuck the lyrics "most of you can't even comprehend what I am saying to you even in my human form the message I'm relaying" I think he meant Jesus and how we don't follow the gospel.
"Can u come and see me in the ghetto where it's dark? Bullets are real lost peeps lurks in the heart Lord knows it hurts but we kick the hurts 2 the curb Ex-u-ecate 1st things 1st and put blunted minds 2 work"!!! Most underrated rap group in history!
“When I’m in the backseat of your midtown taxi Don’t even ask me for the cash G The 4 cabs before didn’t pick me up Now ask yourself who the fucks gonna stick me up”. Holy shit. That was hard af. Especially the way he said it.
I live in Oakland. But whenever I'm on the east coast, I still love to bang this song whenever I'm about to enter Manhattan; gets me ready for that Huge ORGANIZED KONFUSSION OF URBAN STRESS!. All yeah that escalator scene was filmed at the Powell Street Bart station on Market St. in downtown S.F.
Yo P stays in the bay often... since way back... Souls of Mischief used to break into their shows cause they were under age at the time... oh the hip hop puzzle is amazing
Gilbert Hernandez Souls of Mischief were at this video shoot. Would've been even better had they made a cameo. OK were early champions of Saafir as well.
i just don't get why this true piece of art is left to rot when lil wayne vids get millions of hits - i guess we have to find god in ourselves, not the unthinking plurality
This record ia almost 30 years old now... what a high-watermark for hip hop. I swear... *SO Much* that came out in the 90's was just amazing! 'The Extinction Agenda' is a chief-most example.
"I insert my lifeline into the track, the energy in me is a poison with no un-revealed remedy. I'm spreading, like lepersy through-out the record label bc minds put me and monch career in jeopardy" People under estimate Po's lyrical ability. Both of those were mad dope.
I feel sad nobody brings up Po when it comes to Organized Konfusion. Pharaohe Monch is always the most talked about! People forget Po is also the other half of the duo and not just Monch! He might’ve not had the same fame as Monch did? But give this man his credit in Hip Hop! If anything he’s the most down to earth one! He interacts with his followers like on Instagram! He has some good music solo as well people need to show him respect
91Definite actually for 2004 Madvillainy, Mm... Food and The Tipping Point top my list now that I think about it but personally I loved the Slickness the most out of Po’s post-organized konfusion discography. Saga of the Simian Samurai was a nice listen tho, gotta revisit it
A time machine to a time period I’ve never lived in. I miss that gritty, loneliness, vacant, darkness to rap and the hood. Something about walking on train tracks that look so empty
Love Pharoah monch he killed this shit but Prince Po deserves his flowers too they complimented eachother very well lyrically..po had that strong delivery while Monch went over heads.. shit is 🔥
"Can u come see me in the ghetto where its darl? Bullets are real lost peeps lurks in the heart Lord knows it hurts we kick the hurts 2 the curb Execute 1st things 1st and put blunted minds 2 work"!!! Most underated rap group in music history!!!
WHY is Organized Konfusion so Underrated, they should get the Same Love that acts such as Gang Starr, DITC, Tribe, De La, Wu-Tang get......WHY WHY WHY.....
Yo this beat is insane and the song it's Fire and the music video is amazingly hard and raw has alot of anger as well yo Real New York hip hop music forever
dude I think O.K. is gonna be remembered in the long run, like one of dem fancy classical composers, they r just so good there's no chance dis dopeness could not go over da heads of anyone in the so-called public bleh
Тысячу лет назад была эта песня на видео кассете но она потерялась и я забыл название группы. Столько лет я её искал и наконец нашёл) Это вечный шедевр!
Holy fkn shit, I already considered this to be one of the best hip-hop songs of all time but with the video HOLY FUCK. This video is beyond special and so fkn well done
@Mister Happy Another from Canada bout to turn 50 in a few years. We were born at the perfect time. We got to enjoy the best Hip Hop era. Not many could say that. They have to Google it. We lived it.
There are zero rappers today that have any real meaningful context I their rap game it’s just a lot of gimmicks and not real depth. This was real tight introspection in their lyrical flow. Amazing
So many old heads are reuniting as groups and dropping albums. Eric B and Rakim even are touring again. Point is these two need to get back together and drop something ASAP!
