I love how you cook, freeze and feed your whole family, it's what my mum did for my sister and me and now we do for our children. And we're thankful that we can! And your upright freezer is a sight to behold! I've never seen so many shelves, and in the door too! 😂 ❤

Hey Renee!! That thing hanging on your door....I know it's a splatter guard, but my mom would boil hotdogs and put that over the pot and put the buns on it. Then cover with a stainless steel bowl until the buns are nice and steamed!!!!! Oh that was back in the 70-80's. I still do it!!!!!!!

My pantry is a disaster! Our kids get mad at us for not throwing away the food after the “best by dates”. They throw more food away than they eat. I try and convince them that the canned food is still safe but aren’t believers.🤷🏻‍♀️

Sounds like my daughter-in-law. Now, since the food prices are through the roof,( in Canada)she's not so quick at throwing food away. Finally only took her 15 years to realize frozen pass due date won't poison her lol.

I have 3 pantries, a spare room for just home canned food, and my food stores, and it’s always organized and I know where everything is, even in my 6 freezers. A place for everything and everything in its place.

❤ Memmories !Your pantry looks like my parents pantry back when they were alive. When I was first married there were times I went in the pantry and did my shopping. And they loved it. When my son grew up I let him do the same in my pantry, when he first started out on his own. Watching this back back great mem.

Male component: John can probably rebuild a carb, change out struts, convert to inner tube from a tubeless rim! Frame a shed, side a house!, sharpen a mower blade, wire an outlet, and solder a pipe!! Flavor of the day comment! Happy Sunday folks.

Security in being well stocked cannot be over appreciated. Never worrying about running out of toilet paper, pasta, tomato products, proteins, home canned soups and garden yields, evaporated and powdered milk, frozen fruits and veggies, toiletries, water, or cleaning supplies took a lot of stress away during covid.

I'm so glad u can get up...not me. I'm only 61 and 135 pounds but if I get down someone has to help me get up. My knees kill me. Nope I won't see dr about them. I've just had 4 back surgeries in the last 2 years. Had recent 4 weeks ago. Friday I saw my primary for follow up and I fell in his office right when I was going to check out. Felt like an idiot. Minor scrapes and sore muscles but more pain left side related to surgery. Wished I had a big pantry like that.

My knuckle head Dad (RIP) used his slicer (I still have it in pole barn) to slice, brown trout into hocks from a trip to my Uncle in the UP (Superior). He acquired it in a Foot procedure- Alaska Trade. The back bone chipped the blade! You can probably slice frozen foods. Go slow. If the Hobart slicer was an Army Weapon, I could Save America myself! HA!

I used to have a lovely pantry shelf system but I now live in a small two bedroom unit so I don’t know where to put it if I can put a shed up at least I can store cans in there

Please do a ton of research for his diet. I am type 2 and bananas are one thing that I have to watch myself with. Rice, bread and pasta as well. I watch another RU-vidr that has been freshly milling wheat berries to make bread for her diabetic husband and it doesn’t affect his sugar as much as bread made with comercial bought flour. She says that when they process floor to sell in stores they strip it off everything so it lasts longer and as back a couple of things too “enrich” it but if you buy the wheat berry as the natural nutrients are still in it and those nutrients that get stripped out of the floor is what the body needs to be able to break it down properly and therefore doesn’t affect the blood sugar as badly. She makes him sugar free brownies, muffins, tortillas, bread and even used the fresh flour to bread her chicken or fish.

Looks like my two freezers plus the two freezers with two fridges one fridge and freezer in garage one in kitchen. Deep freezer and upright freezer also in the garage. Full to the gill like yours.
