I love this. I am theme all the way, but I like the idea of color divided too.

In my world camping falls in travel as most of our travel adventures are done with our travel trailer. It’s important to know your thought process to organize your goodies & the way you think and create.

This is a great way to subdivide your embellies!

That little TLC thing is a file. I think I have everyone one at that retreat last year. I was a TLC consultant many, many moons ago.

Trying to figure out how I want to organize them. I have tried this before and other than holidays; I'm struggling. This does help figur that out. Knowing what I scrap most often. also helps.

when my husband and I are in a store and looking for each other, we whistle to find each other.

Lol. I was yelling that the doilies were states. When you figured it out, I yelled yes and scared my dog under my desk.

I have a floral binder - it has flowers, leaves, etc. that aren't specific holidays - then by color.

I think sorting just the flowers would be good, especially if you have a lot. Then gardening would be easier to browse.

I'm not organizing anything right now! 😂 The main thing i need to organize is my die collection. Sigh.

I am still using colour unless it's really obvious that an item would only be used for a specific theme. (i.e. Christmas). Enjoy seeing your process. There really is no wrong way.

My binder categories are as follows: Travel/cruise/beach. Floral/leaves. Animals. Icons (some sub sections for cameras, etc.). and seasons/holidays. each section is also in color order.

Maybe you could put garden and flowers in the same book in the same colors, but one in the front other in the back.

Love this. I’m not in binders but considering it. I have drawers divided by flowers (2 drawers) then 1 drawer flora (leaves, stems, trees, branches) and garden together. My ephemera starts in collections and kits then moves to the general population. I divide some of my generals off to theme, keep sets together and multiples in Avery Elle pockets. This isn’t working for me. I like leaving the sets together. I have a lot of fussy cut ephemera also. I think I’m going to start this with florals. Out of all of my struggles, I don’t know what to do with the thickers with phrases and icons. If they are theme based, they are in drawers and bins. But the general ones, There are too many to put in a notebook, they are too long anyway. I could take them off the sticker sheet but that’s a long, painful process. I have them on their side as a flip through file now. Thanks for all your help with embellishments, kits and other goodies.😊

that other Dollie was the state of Montana, you need to flip it on its side, look at it horizontal ,not vertical. I have a flower category, and a gardening and bugs category, so anything bugs, insects, butterflies, snakes, frogs, lizards go in that category. If a flower is in a vase that goes in my home category.
