I don’t know why, but watching other people organize things is very satisfying. I’m not sure how my closets look at school right now, but I hope giving myself an extra week will let me organize everything and set up my new room. I love watching your videos. I think you’re helping me mentally prepare for school to start. Haha. I’d love to hear about what you learn at the conference!
The Lettered Classroom No problem! Thank you for doing what you do! I’ve just been watching your videos from the last year to try to wrap my head around what a year in the classroom looks like and what teaching/organizational strategies I can use. The questions I asked are just things that popped in my head while watching.
Yes, to a quick label maker. On plastic containers, I usually just write on it with expo marker. Then I can re-write as necessary. So lazy, but it works in my classroom!
Bridget: Thank you for sharing this with us. I don't feel alone organizing my own. I did part of it Monday last week. I'm going again tomorrow! I can do this! :)
I have been thinking about going back for my masters but the thought of college again overwhelms me! I loved your most recent podcast, the mini episode! We have a very similar education history!
I have a ton on my plate right now, without a doubt. The expedited classes are great to complete classes quickly, but there is a ton of work squeezed into the month. I will switch to a standard class during the school year. Thank you so much! If you don’t mind, I need all the reviews I can get on iTunes. 😇
Lol.. I’m so much like you when it comes to labeling and organizing. Simple may not be cute but its best for me. I love @pocketfulofprimary and how she does all her labels, closets, and binders but who has time for that. Love your videos.
Love this video, you inspired me to get ready for the new class year. This reminds me, I better clean my bedroom first. Wishing you the best, till next time, Raquel🤗🌹🐱
That is an amazing amount of organizing you did in an hour! It looks great! Please share any tips you have on working so quickly and efficiently. This is an area I struggle with. Thanks!
Okay I'm so excited. I was watching your older vlogs as I'm starting to get back into school mode. I LOVE the Goal Work idea and I'm trying to adapt it for my middle school music classes this year. I'm a little nervous about it. I'm only in my second year teaching and the prep work up front is daunting, but I know it could be so good for my kiddos in the long run if I do it right. Any advice on staying organized throughout the Goal Work process?
I love that this included a mini note taking clip! I just got a new ipad and the apple pencil and definitely will also be getting good notes per your recommendation. Love the mom life moments through out this lol
Love your videos! I enjoy watching you organize your room. Also, live the simple labels. My dymo is my best friend, or just a piece of paper and tape 😂
+Lizzy Tenison - I am going to answer this in the podcast tomorrow morning...but basically, Curriculum. itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/classroom-planning/id1384601611?mt=2
Noooo that would be awful! Have you had to take MAC down? At you're school, if they paint you're room, are you still allowed to hang things and put things on it? Just wondering because my school is pretty strict about that!
Seriously, labeling problems. My labels are made exclusively from those little scrap pieces of paper that always seem to be around and a Sharpie. I bought a bunch of those little plastic sleeves stickers from Target, and it makes labeling everything so simple. Kinda jealous of all your storage though!!
