I catalogue prints on a spreadsheet, it can get quite daunting otherwise and its easy to forget about something for a year or two in a sea of books and sheets. And it saves you printing out something you might already have copied. Its nice being officious i think.
That's a great idea! I used to be a lot more organised when I could see my music but since it was on a shelf that was tucked away it was definitely not easy to find.
My scores are my pride and joy as well. Verdi's stabat mater is legendary. Not as listened to compared to Pergolesi's. Definitely DO NOT scrap the Haydn. That c minor mass by Mozart is heavenly
I love Verdi's stabat mater. I don't think any other stabat mater are listened to nearly as much as the Pergolesi. Probably since it's one of the simpler one to sing. It's a very old Haydn score. That most likely if you were to preform it today in concert they wouldn't use that edition. (kinda like college books)
