CORRECTION: The sapphire glass is NOT AR-coated unlike many of the Orient Star divers which I must've mixed it up with. Thanks to viewer Slo for pointing it out!
One day I look at this watch and I hate it. The next day I want one...then I hate it again. I don't know why this design is so polarizing for me when I love the Blue and Burgundy original Kamasu. I think part of it is that I am disappointed that in the new world of bronze watches this one is copper plated.
@@Simple_Jack82 I admit I had a love-hate relationship with it too in the beginning. That's exactly the reason I was see-sawing between this and the grey dial for awhile. Getting both helped 🤣
Thank you very much! I love this brand and all these aspects you have talked about are very helpful to know this piece better. Greetings from the Canary Islands (Spain).
Their website lists it as “rose gold”, which I can see in a way. However, it’s definitely not a standard rose gold at all. I would LOVE to find a steel bracelet that will actually match the color!!! Nice review
Yup definitely wouldn't have thought of it as rose gold if it wasn't mentioned. Let me know if you manage to find a matching bracelet, I'd love to have one too! Thanks for watching! :)
As far as I can tell, they appear to be virtually the same apart from different finishing where the old version has more polished surfaces compared to the new one which is more brushed. Thanks for watching!
