Wonderful tutorial Evan :) I think I may give this a go today actually. Nice explanation about locking the first and last units too, I think this is always the most difficult step on any model. A trick someone once taught me was to assemble half the units into two separate assemblies and then bring the two halves together. I'm not sure if this would work with this model, but I will have a go and see :)

Thanks, Ed! You'll really enjoy folding this one. I never thought of assembling two halves of the units separately. That probably works well with a lot of modulars, but I think it'll be tricky to align the flaps and pockets with this star. I'm curious, so let me know how it goes!

It's working well with different kind of joining system, here doesn't. I had tried but the process was more complicated after all, and it was falling apart again and again. It's better do it clockwise as Evan described ;)

I don't know what I did wrong.....when I was trying to do the last unit the two last units were to far apart and the first to came apart. Any suggestions?

I don't think you did anything wrong, it just sounds the units may have slid out of place. Like I mentioned in the video, the edges on two adjacent units should be perpendicular. So if two units seem too far apart, you can slide those edges in opposite directions to bring the units closer together (even after they are assembled). If a unit comes loose like you mentioned, you should be able to re-connect it to another unit the same way that I connected the last unit in the video. Hope this helps!

pencil tip also could help (just insert it gently inside the hole of forming star and push just a little bit slightly, fast way to re-assemble all units in correct position in one movement ;) this is what i did almost every-time X-P )
