tricky, but certainly do-able. took me a good 4 hours but happy with the results. Defo gonna try with som foil paper to get the fine details down. I did it with 35x35cm. Thanks for this Tadashi, and Robert Lang of course!
@vick291 you're welcome =), Yeah, I have the book also, it's nice to read it sometimes, it has tons of informations. I didn't make many models also, the diagrams are just to fill the book with examples.
Okay, I have just finished making some tissue foil with two contrasting shades of green/yellow, I reckon I am going to have a try at this, wish me luck!
This tree frog is Awesome and Robert Lang is unbelievable and takes origami to another level! I do not think I could do this reading out of a book! What is recommended type paper? When I was 7 years old, I did the Jumping Frog p. 46 -47 "Secrets of Origami" a compilation of different Origamist (I believe is out of print) by the author and Origamist himself Robert Harbin. The You Tube instruction Tadashi Mori are fabulous, at 51 years old, I think I am ready for the next level!
@zugohugo The fiery dragon got too flat? hm... I guess you used a big tissue foil then huh. This origami is ok with the tiddue foil, I think it will be easier to make the details in the end... with the paper I used in this video was just impossible to make the details.
There is a better way to do the eyes. Roll a little piece of cloth or tissue up into a ball and stick it inside the layers to achieve a realistic "bulging" look
oh and tadashimori, thanks for the great vid! ive got origami design secrets from Robert J Lang, and i really love the book! i havent made this model yet though..... :)
i remember when i folded a plane or a crane or something and i was like "they are really cool and i can fold these" and they were for me so awesome, but now, i can fold that frog and a scorpion and the leviathan and things like these.
I think I would get this down some of these folds kinda of similar to the fiery dragon that's really easy I actually remembered ALL OF THE STEPS to the dragon in 4 days. So I think the tree frog is not going be so hard. So thank for the tutorial
guys..... stop complaining.... if you cant do it, then dont watch! but do not be rude with the one that uploaded the vid. by the way, i couldnt do it, so what? ill just keep trying :)
how did u manage to break down cp to such simple steps. i managed to fold this model from cp but only by collapsing all at once kinda which was kinda painfull
Dude, you need to think a little bit more. He said it's a complex model, so it's not meant for beginners to do, or at least, they probably couldn't do it. So when you say something like "open sink", "spread sink" or whatever else, you can suppose that experienced people would know what it means, even if they can't see. So that's how it is, man. Not saying people can't do it, it's just that you gotta start with the basics.
Tadashi,here's a question.I wan't you to be brutally honest!!! Can you tell me what race/strategy you use in SC/SC2 I go zerg/zergling rush,but i won onlyone game(out of 10 i played 1v1) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
