I decided to come back and start at the start with your tutorials to understand what I was doing better lmao. I accidently made it on 16x16 but adapted the final steps to still get a nice finish, the star shape (as I call it) folding to make the clovers I struggled massively with last time clicked with me a lot better this time! Thanks! I'm a bit late finding your channel but I'm enjoying the content so much!

Mea culpa. I characterized the Fujimoto hydrangea folding as ‘hard’ but it’s more accurate to say rather that it’s ‘challenging’. In fact, that method & Mr. E’s method are both perfectly legitimate & both produce beautiful hydrangea models. And I’m finding that knowing both methods is useful for understanding the model. Don’t let my earlier comment bias you. Having folded both ways several times in the past days, I’ve come to appreciate & enjoy both methods. And isn’t the challenge part of why we love paper folding? Mr. E your Instagram photos blew me away! Both your paper models & mushrooms are stunning. More videos please. They are inspiring.

Brilliant! I’ve done the ‘hard’ way but this method is far easier, neater & demonstrates the structure. Now I understand the structure much better. Wondering how to do this by offsetting the hydrangea. Must be possible. I’ll have to work through your other videos to grasp variations. I got through your five level clover video well but got very confused on final row. Won’t give up though. Thank you! Enjoy your accent.

Nice one! What kind of paper is it?

It’s standard kami paper, but did seemed a bit thicker than most. So loud in the video!

More specifically - it was the Hydrangea on Diagonal Clover Tessellation video that I got lost on last row. So close...

C Mire The last row of the diagonal clover is definitely tricky to finish with all the points! Glad to hear the tutorials are helping.

@@origami.by.e9415 Picked up the unfinished model today, thought about it, gave it a try, Very happy! Because of your videos, I am beginning to see the individual steps & understand them. All very clever these hydrangeas & clovers. What fun. Many thanks.
