The difference between Hellena and Jennifer's performance to me is that Hellena went in to personify the character while Jennifer was asked to sound like the character. Hellena focused more on a theatre career to become the characrer while Jennifer focused on a career of learning how to have a large range of voices. Both have talent in their departments of acting
Jennifer doesn't very her intonation enough based on the context, but she does the sin summons really well. I wish we got to hear Hellena voice those summons though. Hellena's inflection and vocal timbre commands more respect, while Jennifer's is more UwU cute
@@caseyhowland7291 I actually prefer the Bayo 3 new voice and design the design really fits the new smoother and more melodic voice and I love how the hair’s really incorporated into the outfit but the reason I prefer it is probably because I never played the first two so I’m not as nostalgic for it wish I had though
I honestly don’t mind it but what reaallllyyy kills me is when Jennifer’s vocal range softens and the songs or actions are too loud so she fades. I tell myself that it has to be some bad syncing done in the background because it truly doesn’t convey the confident Bayonetta we got to know. But it could just be me idk.

Platinum's final offer was 15k dollars for the whole game. she refused. then they offered her 4k dollars just for bayo 1's voicelines in the bayo 3 game. She had told the whole internet that platinum would pay her just 4000 dollars for the WHOLE game, and everyone believed her.
I love both voice actors, and they both did a beautiful job, but I'm not OK with how Helena handled this, and I'm heartbroken that she only thought of herself and was selfish and problematic, and that she turned her back on us, her incredibly loyal fans, who really wanted her to voice Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3.

Both are good in their own right. The old voice fits into the hack-and-slash nature of Bayonetta, and her deadliness. The new voice leans into her sexual nature, with a hint of maliciousness brewing underneath. Both are awesome in their own right.
NO. The original had and does ALL the things you mentioned better than the new one. Before all of these "lies" started we ALL loved her(her voice if anything) just the way she WAS. I STILL haven't bought Bayonetta 3 and im not going to until it's like 3,5, MAYBE, 10 bucks on eshop. Perhaps not even THEN. They should've stop being stingy and just PAYED the woman and kept being epic. Helena Taylor is one of a kind ✨️ It was never the same after she decided not to voice Bayonetta anymore. Jennifer did well considering the fact that Helena set the bar so high.

Jennifer Hale is a treasure. I play Guild Wars 2 and her voice has been with me every step of the way through that game. My main is a female mesmer which Hale voices. Absolutely lovely to hear her in this game and she does such an incredible job. True professional. Looking forward to hearing her in future games.

Even in other projects that feature Bayonetta she sounds different from the original 2 games, for example, in smash bros she sounds has a deep/old voice like, instead of having a voice kinda of a voice that sounds kinda younger in Bayo 1 and 2
I don’t like it but since Bayonetta 3 is the little girl from Bayonetta 1 I respect it. Helena/ Bayo has a flare that can’t be matched she could’ve been great and games could’ve been greater if she didn’t get greedy. The game was okay, Jennifer did her best, hoping for a better come back but if not then this game died as tragically as Rosa and Balder

Fun fact, the Japanese voice acting is actually a dub, the original release for the PS3/360 were only in English in all territories including Japan. The Japanese dub didn't get added or recorded until the more recent releases of Bayo 1

Old one sounds like she's mature and confident in her skills because she done it so much, new one sounds like young coquette witch. I like old one better, it fits her personality much more, that's why i don't play Bayonetta 3, it's a headache. Im pretty much over Helena's voice. I played 3 enough to enjoy Jen's voice more now. When i here bayo 1&2 now, i only imagine the huge karren behind the voice
This is my opinion. Helena's voice fit Bayo 1 and 2 design since they're mature and calm meanwhile Hale's voice fits Bayo 3 cause her design is more youthful and fun.
