One of my favorite shows as a kid growing up along with the Leyland brothers, Jack Absolom and Malcom Douglas. Not to mention "World Safari with Alby Mangels". Cheers :)
Les is one of nicest blokes you will ever meet..a LEGEND! He now runs a retreat for Australian veterans....I have every book he has ever written and copies of many of the maps he helped add bush tucker to.....along with the "Australian Army's Military Survival Manual", which he helped author......He added majorly in the development of the love I have had for surviving in the Australian bush and for the amazing diversity and complexity of Australian bush tuckers. ...99.9% of Australians if they were ever caught out in the bush would starve....I would hope that if that ever happened to me I could actually see it as a corner store!...Meat section...Fruit and veggie section....and beverages out the back LOL.....Mind you the desert is one place I would hate to be caught in...... That area requires a specialist knowledge that I just don't have.
