This footage approximately 2008 year I filmed master Tian Jian Hua (田剑华) last indoor disciple of master Chen Fa Ke and his foreign disciple Helena (海伦娜). They performed 1 lu, 2 lu Pao Chui, first and second routine of old Chen style Taijiquan and pushing hands- Tuishou. Helena Čermáková, high skilled MD from Czech republic is long time disciple of master Tian Jianhua, master of 10th generation of Taijiquan, who was last living indoor inheritor of legendary grandmaster Chen Fa Ke and uncle of now famous masters Tian Qiu Mao (田秋茂) and Tian Qiu Xin 田秋信. Master Tian was younger brother of Tian Xiuchen (田秀臣), and last living indoor disciple of Chen Fa Ke(陈发科) until 27th June 2021 when he unfortunatelly passed away in age 97 years. He practiced Taijiquan until last minute of his life, even in the bed before he passed away. Tian Jianhua was real Chen Fake's indoor disciple, since grandmaser Chen taught disciples behind closed door of their Tian family yard in Beijing. Master Tian was great succesor of this famous grandmaster with delicate and pure style. He was introduced to me to me in 1995 year by Li Zhong Yin(李忠荫), secretary of "Beijing Chen style Taijiquan Association" and another top disciple of Chen Fa Ke. Master Tian was honorary advisor to Beijing Chen Style Taijiquan Association. Hello and thank you for posting this video! I learn after a disciple of Chen Yu and from time to time I like to look for videos of students of Chen Fake or even of his son Chen Zhaokui, to look for similarities and differences. That's when I happened to come across this video, which I find really interesting. Thanks very much for sharing! I would be happy to see even more.

Hi, you are very welcome! I know Chen Yu from Beijing and I am going to meet him again. About uncle Chen Zhaokui, as my master told me, Chen Zhaokui died young and they were all present there in hospital along his bed, Feng Zhiqiang uncle held his hand when he passed away. Very sad he passed away so young. And about generation of direct disciples of Chen Fa Ke, there is no one living yet. The last one, master Tian Jianhua was last and he died 27.June.2021 in age 97. 🙏

@@xingbaoshi6341 Thank you for sharing this story. I did not know that Feng Zhiqiang was so close to him at his death. I recently saw a picture of Chen Yu and thought of how young his father died. I hope Chen Yu is in good health. It is very sad that Chen Zhaokui died so young. It is also a pity that just like Chen Fake, there is almost no videography of him for future generations. So it is even more important that there are disciples who seriously practice their Taiji and pass it on! I think you are very lucky to have found a master like Tian Jianhua who has adopted you into this great Gong Fu family.

@@leow78 thank you for nice words! Yes, they were all very closed like real family. It was tradition in those times. And yes, I also think so, that Chen Fa Ke leaved only pictures, no video. And it is nice that Chen Fa Ke family has descendant. Actually,I begun to practice Chen style under other Chen Fa Ke disciple Li Zhong Yin (one of my Xing Yi Quan GM) , who also spend time to teach young Chen Xiaowang in Beijing and Chen Jiagou. He was also secretary of Chen Fa Ke’s Beijing Chen Style Association. Before he passed away (in 2000) he introduced me his younger brother master Tian to continue study. It was really good times!

Hi, thanks for posting these videos. Hopefully you'll post more videos of Tian Jian Hua and his disciples. What are the differences between his Taiji and Chen Yu's Taiji? Is there any significant difference? Also, do you know of anyone of his lineage that teaches online or talks or writes about his Taiji at length?

Hi, I know Chen Yu from Beijing. He is son of Chen Zhaokui, who died young. There is no difference it is the same Chen Fa Ke style, Chen Yu except the one generation. Tian Jianhua was Chen Yu's uncle. Master Tian has only two foreign disciples, me and Helena. I was introduced to master Tian by his elder brother Li Zhongyun (李忠荫) since he had heart disease and was noty able to teach me anymore. (He died in 2000 year).I think unfortunatelly there is no any his disciple who teach online. Although master Tian was very famous inside the wushu circles (as indoor disciple of Chen Fa Ke and also legendary monk Shi Qi Yun) and had many good students, he was not famous outside. He was very humble man and he never do any commercial or advertisment, nor talk to media. He only strictly taught his disciples in all details in his small place in Tiantan park and devoted all life to pass the pure and authentic Taijiquan to the next generation. His videos was spread by his disciples just before few years. He was also honorary advisor to Beijing Chen style association until he passed away. His only effort was the original Chen style doesn't get lost.
