I recall my mother's story of the first time staying at the Wigmore Institute. Ann Wigmore was in her mid eighties, had her natural brown hair, and sprinted up the stairs like a teenager. I'm a big fan of Ann Wigmore and her work.
That was excellent, John. Nice to see Carolyn and Kailash and Lolita, all serene teachers and exemplars of great health. I hope to visit them one day. I once sat next to Ann Wigmore at a raw foodists' meeting one night during the 1975 World Vegetarian Congress in Orono, Maine. During that same trip I visited the Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston and saw their sprouting kitchen. Same trip my friend and I visited Harvard University and heard the comedian, Dick Gregory speak about vegetarianism. I have met Viktoras Kulvinskas, Ann's friend and fellow teacher who wrote 'Survival In the 21st Century', a primer on the Hippocrates healthstyle. Some years later I visited the Living Light Institute in Ft.Bragg, CA and ended up returning for 2 more Vibrant Living Expos as their volunteer coordinator. I enjoyed my friends, Cherie Soria's and her husband, Dan Laderman's excellently-organized programs and delicious raw foods meals. I saw you, John at a North American Vegetarian Society annual convention in PA. I have heard Drs. Brian and Anna-Maie Clement speak at Living Light and another festival organized by Happy Oasis. John, you ou have done so much to rally everybody around a plant-based healthstyle we all appreciate you. This episode and adventure to Puerto Rico with you, John brings back fond memories of some of the people and places who have influenced and inspired me. Thank you, John and friends.

Twenty eight years ago I discovered Ann Wigmore through a friend when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Raw food became a big part of my healing. Even though I did traditional therapy at the same time as raw food, I never felt better and was so full of energy and clarity.

Hi John. I wanted to share about someone else on RU-vid who makes videos that created a TRULY RAW nutritional yeast that’s unfortified. I know this has nothing to do with this video. But, I remember you mentioned that you buy 4 big boxes of raw nutritional yeast that’s unfortified from Germany. I was going to order some of Matt’s Monarchs raw unfortified nutritional yeast. It’s made in the our country. Not that I have ANY problem with buying products over seas. Having options that are highly likely faster shipping would be nice for you. You also won’t have to buy so much. Have you ever heard of Matt Monarch? Thanks for the video!!!
