On almost any modern smartphone, you'd hardly notice any difference in loading speeds. Even then, compared to the original iPhone the difference is significant.

@@majdihidmi4624 I had a Galaxy Note9 brand new before my brand new iPhone X. As soon as I got Android 10 on my Note9 the performance was shittier than my LG G6. OneUI especially is simply just piss poor, it's too heavy, it's optimised for fuck all and it ruins battery. If only Samsung updated their phones, used the same chipset internationally and used stock android. They'd probably beat out Apple for performance. But, Apple and Google are still the champs. I can't even say the same for OnePlus, I have a OnePlus 7 Pro with Android 11 and it's super slow with the new GUI, I don't know why they cripple devices like this

@@possiblyunmatched1323 nope he is right 2015 Galaxy S6 vs iPhone 6s. You know why? The Note version that comes out the same time as the iPhone is always based on the S version released earlier in the year. The 2015 Note 5 that came out at a similar time to the iPhone 6s uses the same internals as the S6. So if the Note 5 is a rival for the iPhone 6s, so is the S6. Not the S7.

@@gsc-lol-islem6494 No you are right, it should be the 2015 S6 vs the 2015 6s. This is as the Note that comes out the same time as the iPhone is based on the S line from a few months earlier. If the 2015 Note5 and 6s Plus are rivals, so is the 2015 S6 and iPhone 6s.

Damn I wish my original iPhone looked this pristine. I still have mine but there are a few small scratches and a small dent in the corner. Hard to believe that I didn't use a case on the first iPhone, and even harder to believe that I never cracked the display or did any serious damage. I think the smaller phones were just easier to hold securely.

Smaller phones usually land at sides when dropped. The first phones with big displays used to crack often due to heavier weight and much higher chance to land at the front which is painful.

The difference was surprisingly small. If you only tested features that can fit in that small RAM the difference would be even smaller. The original iPhone had small RAM and slow flash.

20:9 would be a horrible idea because most phones have 19:9 or 19:5:9 which means you end up with small black bars at the top and bottom you can't get rid off. 18:9 like everyone else would be way better.

Interesting test - apparently I'm not the only one who wonders about these things. I think the type of test underestimates the actual power differences since there is substantial time in simply selecting items and such - which is good since it is more real world. If you simply timed the two phones to render something it'd be a purer comparison of the difference in capabilities, albeit less real world. Nicely done!

I don't think the Google task is fair. Google.com is different today than in 2007. Today, webpages are packed with computationally expensive JavaScript. In 2007, they were much much simpler and mostly HTML and CSS, with a tiny bit of JS.
