I really just spent 10 minutes of my life watching a guy with nice arms cut a cake only cause it jiggles.... My life choices...

For anyone that hasn't had this cake before: the best part about it is how it looks and jiggles. It tastes like scrambled eggs with a bit of sugar in it. Each single-serving slice has around 1.5 eggs or so, based on the recipe proportions. It's not that great. Just make an omelette or something and have a cupcake on the side. You'll get something that's generally more enjoyable.

It's not the jiggle. It's the clean cuts! So satisfying.

the cake is very impressive but what im more amazed is the culture of these people. these look like ordinary young people just working their ordinary jobs but the precision/art that they do things are truly amazing to me. they seem to have pride in what they do and that is something id love to see. hopefully one day id be able to visit their country.

I learned from this that I need to buy parchment paper. How nice it is to be able to just PUT THE PAN AWAY! Omg. Everything about this video was unbelievably satisfying - from the golden brown of the cake, the upside down flips, the parchment paper, the way the woman uses that tool to take the cake slice smoothly away, the steam, the goo inside, and as someone else said, his arms 😆😅 OH! It looks like a cloud, I can imagine simmering down a pint of strawberries with sugar and whipping up a couple of pints of heavy cream with natural vanilla bean mixed in, and putting the simmered sweet berries over the cake and placing large fluffy plops of vanilla bean whipped cream over the top and eating until I couldn't possibly hold another crumb. Looks luscious!!

Im Welsh , and ive made this twice . It was absolutely heaven to eat, and easy to make . Yes it wobbled too, but best eaten before it loses air. It was so light , like a cloud . You would love it. I made this 15 years ago , when I ate eggs and dairy . Im now a vegan , so i doubt it can be made vegan . I made the plain version, but would love the stucky cheesy centre too. Vegan cheese now tasts and feels like dairy cheese ... ..but the reason its fluffy , like souffle ... ..is because it has alot of egg whites etc. Theres no equivalent for vegans . I really miss fluffy, jiggly japanese cake . 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
