Best review of the Naked palettes I've seen on RU-vid! You give accurate descriptions of color, finish and application. Most of the ones I've seen before are basically people swatching and blabbing on about the colors. I liked your suggestions for wearing the colors wet to intensify them. This is very true about UD shadows since they're basically glitter bombs. Keep up the good work! :-)

your naked pallet reviews are the best ive evwr watched! the way you set it out means i can see exactly what the shades will look like on the eye instead of swatched on someones had and i can see how well they blend.

Omy you are a genius! This video must have taken days and yet it was so beautifully done. Love how original this idea is compared to your average, everyday, swatch and review video. Hustle was absolutely stunning on you! You also revealed that using just one color on the lid can be just as catching as 3 or 4. I always forget I can do that lol!

I was umming and aahing about which naked palette to purchase, but this outstanding review has just comfirmed my desition (the original naked). I have never seen a review like this! When you applied the shades onto your eyes I could really picture what they would look like on me and all the different looks you did were really helpful. This is probably the best review I've seen of this palette! I love how you told us a way to use all of the eyeshadows. Do you think this would be a better option for someone with yellow undertones? And if it is, would naked basics be a good extension or would it be just a waste of money?
theanimegirl01 Yes, this is a warmer palette so it'll work great if you have yellow undertones. I also have Naked basics and i'd suggest to get it if you need some matte eyeshadows.

Am I the only one who has noticed these eyeshadows are very patchy and don't blend well at all? When you swatch them you're like omg they're super pigmented I love it but when you try applying it without primer they barely show up. That's probably why they push their $20 primer so much. Ridiculous you should pay $55 for an eyeshadow that you need $20 primer for.
Thank you! Gosh I was struggling with this palette, especially trying to go with multi shade tutorials. You look so elegant with your one-shadow approach; plus you pair lippies so well with each shade too! I am going to try this and see if I can fall in love with my Naked 1 palette! Btw, May I ask what is your skin tone reference? Light? Light-medium? NC25 isn? Plus what was that lippie you paired with Toasted? : )

Amazing review! What is the angled liner brush with the pink/red handle you used with Darkhorse? I'm a brush fanatic lol, and that 1 looks so unique...a tiny bit fluffy and rounded, looks perfect for shadow-lining :)
I've had this palette for years now and its still my go-to for eyeshadows. Unfortunately I haven't really made use of any of the colors past toasted. Smokey eyes scare me - like trying to attempt to do them, not the look of them, smokey eyes are are amazing and I wish I could do them. I really wanna get a full usage out of this palette though. Any ideas on how to use creep, gunmetal, and darkhorse for everyday looks? Or would you strictly keep these for party looks?
Hi Alyssa, I've also always struggled with smokey looks too but honestly any blending brush will do the trick! All it takes is a little bit of product, building it up as you go, and of course practice! I also usually use dark horse and creep in my outer crease. As for gunmetal, it's often a shade I neglect but it's great all over the lid or just in the crease. I hope this helps.
I very recently just bought this palette, and the packaging is unfortunately still the same. Although I love anything velvet, the packaging needs an upgrade.
