Awesome! It’s amazing to see the progress “The Kids” have made, individually and as a group. Cecilia doing some breaks on the guitar! So much talent in one family!
This is one of the beautiful and harmonious songs your family has ever performed together. Excellent job! I really liked that. God bless you and your sweet and special family always. Your friend, Ernie.
What I am impressed by, is not just that this is an original song, but how much your abilities have grown as individuals and a team over the years. Congratulations.
Cotton Pickin', toe tappin' amazing! A great original song, fantastic playing and smooth harmonies. You "Kids" have knocked the ball out of the park with this one!!😍 The interplay between Thérèse and Cecilia during the outro was incredibly funny!😂 I'm looking forward to hearing some lovely lyrics applied to thos song in the future. Congratulations from way up North!🍁🍁 👍👍🫡🎶🎵🤩
Wow! That was great you guys. You are building up a deep collection of original music for yourselves. Cecilia your Guitar picking is becoming incredibly accomplished. I really enjoyed what I heard. Good light show too! Good sound balance also. Top Notch video!
Stunning - honestly, the original material is what I come here for and it never fails to impress me. Love you all, and well done Salvio for a beautiful melody and arrangement.
You did it, Savio. I loved this song on the mandolin alone, but together, it's spectacular!!! Y'all sounded awesome. LOVE the solos- banjo, dobro, guitar, fiddle, and of course, the mandolin. Requests: I wish Gianluca was more visible. He gets hidden behind the bass. 😢 I'd love to hear more bass solos.
Now THAT was a very good mix. I think this is the first time I've heard the band not drop by half in volume so you could hear the guitar. Very good. Plus you could hear every note played by the bass. Live playing is hard to capture plus all of the band playing around one mic. Microphoning each instrument and bring the band together as a single sound is an art that goes unacknowledged far too often. The sound man is an equal part of any band. That is why you see the bigger bands clear the stage and bringing their own equipment with microphones. Then their own sound man takes over the board. Your sound is going to change from stage to stage to room to room. Another words....SOUNDS like you have a good sound man.HA!
I didn't need the lighting to enjoy the playing or players. Nicely done CPK...I'd rather see your smiles and lighting fast fingers than old disco lights!
Good, enjoyable new music? Yes, definitely. Duh, it is the CPK after all. Do I always look forward to seeing these young ladies and gentlemen perform? Yeah, well, that’s a dumb question. The best part tho is Cecelia blocking Thérèse with the headstock of her guitar after finishing the song. That kind of natural, spur of the moment family interaction makes these performances so much better. The love between these siblings is absolutely palpable. These videos never fail to make my day, week and month!
FOR SAVIO: I'm not in the best of health but I'll be fine. I just wanted to know if you and the kids could listen to a song called" Buy for me the rain" by the nitty gritty dirt band. They're the band that did the song Mr Bojangles back in the 60's. When you get time to listen to the song please listen to the version from the 60's. Hopefully you guys could play it before the end of the year. All the best to you all. Kregg from Phoenix
💥WOWZERS💥 Sometimes music doesn't need words...just EARS! This was such an awesome share CPK's! This is going on my daily music loop Fo Sho! Love my seat on this Ride in here and always a blessing to read the love and support from your Fan Base too! Keep Smiling...Strutting...Strumming...Singing! MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋🙏
Hey guys.. I am being completely honest when I say this is the best bluegrass instrumental I have ever heard. This is a *"HIT".* When I worked in a music studio (over 40 years ago), we would call this "Stronger than 40 acres of garlic", which means it is a ... *"HIT"!* (Edit) .. Hope y'all have a copyright on this one. ✔
to be heard Saturday 9/21/24, & again Saturday, 9/28/24 on World Music on Radio Soleil (2-6 p-click 2x) Little Haiti, Brooklyn, NY the song has a Haitian "Troubadour" sound with the banjo.
Yes, those cotton picking kids are great very nice song Northern Light, all did very good but the bass player didn't do a lead on the bass that make me sad, hope you give her a shot on doing a solo lead on the bass, but you all did great I give you all's a big A+, god bless kids
