I remember he tried to play Patron Warrior... he really shouldn't have. (I also remember him losing to a random Nozdormu because he didn't want to accept that he couldn't handle it)
The animation is actually insane if you combo it with augmented elekk. It seems to replay for each extra raptor the elekk shuffles, so you get like 20 animations!
@@chutindrachodi4764 no. I stopped climbing in diamond. The deck is vulnerable for aggressive matchups and also lose in tempo to some others. It is very recommended to find card with 4/1 worms to make some early push and finish quest earlier. It will make finding otk easier
the problem back then was... it was Un'Goro meta. You had Quest Rogue, which was broken, you had Jade Druid, which was broken and the only balanced meta deck was Silence Priest, which, wich Humongous Razorleaf, which even when not drawing the combo right away to oneshot you on turn 6, ran double Holy Nova, plus Auchenai + Circle of Healing to wipe your board. three times over.
Unfortunately it still suffers from you needing to play the quest on turn 1 instead of playing a minion. That's a massive loss of tempo that the completion reward just doesn't make up for.
Anyone shouldn't be impressed with the state of this game since it's basically 10 years old, whereas some newer ones with 2 years are already broken by power creep. So considering all things it's doing very well.
@@gamelo-aka-tokey you guys need to remember that you need to 1) finish the quest 2) draw your combo You can't put so many buffs and hope your opponent won't kill you before turn 25
Un'goro got into Twist so they buffed a lot of the expansion's cards (since what's already on Twist is overpowered bullshit, especially Caverns of Time)
