This game came out when I was 12, I'm now 24 with a degree in video production. And now with that knowledge, I'll like to say. Thank you to all the hardworking Treyarch employees for making such a well-done map and cinematic. They gave us a world that felt so much more real and personal to us. They didn't have to. But they did for us, so thank you Treyarch.
I remember tricking my mom the day of release so I could stay home and beat the Easter egg 🔥 I remember getting the staffs waiting for zombie youtubers on stream to finish the EGG
If you were a kid when bo2 came out then you’re still a kid, and congrats, you grew up with the shittest videogames and media. Born too late for any good content or even playing outside like a normal kid. L childhood.
The essay: It all began when miners were mining for element 115, then these zombies came out and killed every soldier there, then an American, tank Dempsey, Nikolai belenski, and takeo masaki found Edward Richthofen, then a giant came and stepped on the roof, so the 4 had to power every generator, eventually they reached no mans land, a place where if you put a gun into a machine, it will come back out stronger, they also found parts for staffs around, staffs such as the fire staff, the ice staff, the wind staff, and the lightning staff, each of them made the staffs and then had went to make their own fist stronger, an ability they called “the fist of wonder” (that’s what I call it) then they had to kill zombies using the fist of wonder in a certain area, then they had to upgrade the staffs, and make them more powerful with different steps, eventually they had to part ways with the staffs to be able to escape, so right now in the crazy place, there sits a lot of dormant zombies, and 4 OP staffs
I love how Dempsey, takeo, and nikolia are all pointing their guns at each other until they notice richtofen and just unanimously agree "you know what, fuck this guy"
If I remember correctly they were all sent by their various countries to capture richtofen and maxis since they were the heads of group 935 but they also had no idea that the others were also going to be there.
@@kommiekoathanger1418yep pretty much. They weren’t anticipating them being there but then again, who is communicating this stuff with allied forces anyways?
@@brandonnavarro4876 I discovered black ops at 5 in 2013 im 16 and i feel nostalgic. Im kinda i was born a lil late for black ops but im glad i could play it
Reason 16: they did not have a wonder weapon Reason 17: they were new to the game Reason 18: they don't even have any perks to be honest Reason 19: they didn't throw grenades
Saw Avenged Sevenfold last week. They’re very talented beyond all the call of duty stuff but TBH, when Shepard of Fire came on the boys went absolutely ballistic.
Open world is still technically good you guys are kind of blinded by nostalgia.. I know they aren't the same anymore but haven't we had enough cod games with Nazi zombies?
@@Jay-tf9ce bo4 had some of the best zombies maps and easter eggs in the entire series. oh wait let me guess, the youtuber hive mind told you that youre not allowed to like bo4
Full song for Shepherd of Fire Avenged Sevenfold Lets take a moment and break the ice So my intentions are known See I pity in watching you suffer I know the feeling of feeling of being damned alone I got a storybook of my own Don't you see I am your pride Agent of wealth Bearer of needs And you know it's right I am your war Arming the strong Aiding the weak Know me by name Shepherd of fire Well I can promise you paradise No need to serve on your knees And when you're lost in the darkest of hours Take a moment and tell me who you see Won't tell ya who not to be Now you know I am your pride Agent of wealth Bearer of needs And you know it's right I am your war Arming the strong Aiding the weak Know me by name Shepherd of fire Disciple of the cross and champion in suffering Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption Pardon your mind through the chains of the divine Make way, the shepherd of fire Through the ages of time I've been known for my hate But I'm a dealer of simple choices For me it's never too late I am your pride Agent of wealth Bearer of needs And you know it's right 'Cause I am your war Arming the strong Aiding the weak I am your wrath I am your guilt I am your lust And you know it's right I am your love I am your stall I am your trust Know me by name Shepherd of fire
its a fucking joke we cant get a good zombies map,at this point the community would make a better game. a fucking bo3 custom zombie map is better than liberty falls
Better yet we’re approaching 9 years, which is fitting for treyarch, trey=3, 3*3=9 Hope that wasnt too much of a stretch lol Bc I’m not waiting till we reach 27 years post launch
@@sherms255 Bro, you're telling people to chillax even though literally no one is freaking out lol we know it was a joke, and even if we couldn't tell, you just finished saying how "you can't tell through the screen" soooooo???? Ironic much?
Damn, gaming just isn't the same anymore. So much good stuff came out in this era. It's not even purely just nostalgia either, I still get so hyped watching these old trailers while I feel almost nothing for current game trailers.
Black Ops 4 is what he's talking about. That game was trash and the story. Honestly, black Ops 3 gameplay was good, but the story I hate. The whole Apothican war, with the sHaDoW mAn and dR.MoNtY is so stupid.
@@squiddles6359 Bo3 version was better. I honestly would rather play the b03 versions because some bo1 maps had terrible weapons in the vanilla game of bo1
@@Xirenx X Please describe to me how just taking a fire ax to a zombie is anything other than brute force and ignorance Please tell me how Takeo effortlessly slicing zombies in half with a katana is anything other than graceful
Ha, kinda Ironic you people say that when you think that Kino is overrated, think that bo1 and waw maps are "too simple". Let me guess, you love Bo3 and hate Bo4. You're so predictable. By the way, if this map was perfection, don't you think that it would've been the most played map ? Too bad it's not. This map is fucking trash.
@@MoMo-lr8hg But a map doesnt have to be the most played to be perfect. Bo4 zobies was dogshit, Kino is a great map and so are the waw maps, and black ops 3 was the time zombies was hyped the most.
Just came to this after seeing the black ops 6 "zombies" trailer, if u could even call it that. This was the last time I remember being seriously excited about zombies.
I love how these trained soldiers couldn't at least hold off some of the zombies but some German scientist and a few hardcore soldiers could hold off wave upon wave of the undead lol
the chicken It’s fucking hilarious lmao 😂, just go back and watch them trying to shoot the zombies lol. It’s like they are shooting, then they stop to aim the gun upwards and then aim down and then aim again to shoot lol
dat boi well i don’t think they were trained in front line combat they were excavators given some guns for protection but not fully trained in how to use a gun
Technically Takeo, Nikolai, and Tank were on the same side (Russia, Japan, and the US were allies in WW1, although by the time the American forces reached Europe, Russia was all but out of the war)
@@Demospammer9987 Actually they were enemies. Japan attacked Pearl Harbour and killed over 3000 american sailors. the US dropped 2 atomic bombs on Japan. And the USA was on the allies side, and Japan was on the Axis.
No, Takeo's was better because nobody really liked him until that reveal of him actually being cool. And on top of that, him killing zombies was in sync with the song
Imo, I think Origins is based on the "Battle of the Undead" from WW1 (even tho Origins is set in 1918). For those who don't know, basically during WW1, in 1915 german forces decided to take Osowiec Fortress (which was controled by the russians at that time), and to do it, they attacked with mustard gas if I remember correctly. Once the germans thought every russian was dead after the attacks, they moved closer but soon stopped after hearing screams coming from the fortress. Russians with their faces and bodies destroyed and covered in blood by the gas started to coming out, charging with their rifles at the germans. Obviously, the german forces started to retreat, scared as hell because they were sure those russian soldiers died by the gas. And that's the "Battle of the Undead" in 1915, considered as a strange battle from the Great War.
The name matches up but nothing else, i appreciate the work you put into your comment but origins isen,t meant to be realistisc, its just meant to be dumb fun, i mean first of all all the soldiers have ww2 guns and the tank is WAAAY to quick to be called realistic
@@spagettchurchill2690 I know man, Origins was never meant to be realistic, but the fact that it was set in WW1 it made me write that comment. Pretty curious honestly.

Zombies exist... Zombies are bulletproof when facing the German army... Zombies are pathetic when facing 4 main protagonists... Nobody reloads once... ...I LOVE IT!
also I never saw a gun shot so many times to say it had infinite ammo as they also don't in the actual game while there is magic its only the result of the evil mysterious element 115 itself as in the normal cod none of those things exist. the guns did work for the German army but there were too many and they were only shooting the body when you need to shoot the heads of the zombies not only that but the protagonists were significantly better at it clearly more experienced and they also were the four ancient heros that saved they're entire universe from corruption from the shadow man's dimension which is also by the way where element 115 came from which is why its so mysterious the gaurd you saw in the beginning was one of the trapped heros as there was 4 when they killed the envasion of the shadow man's dimension trying to corrupt it they locked themselves away along with the element 115 which unfortunately when your exposed to for too long it creates zombies which are controlled by the shadow man which you can see in the beginning by the eye color however you'll notice they turned orange which is the result of Samantha controlling them when richtofden was doing experimentation on teleportaiton in order to try to use it to win the war among many other things when he tried to use it long story short Samanta got sent to the moon where she was teleported into an ancient temple that the shadow man was using to control the zombies then Samantha I forgot how took control of the zombies if I remember right accidentally and to stop them but I think her father got betrayed and told her to kill them all now were are in origins where everything is starting
The german soldier, using bren, even with a ton of bullets, the zombie killed him The four protagonists kill a zombie with only one PISTOL magazine SeNSe
eXportin_ d0ge I know, right? The trailer treats a pistol like a damn Barrett .50 Cal with the damage, yet the actual GAME treats a pistol like a damn Nerf gun
