This is a song that you actually feel thunderstruck from the shock and awe of the outstanding vocals, musicality, and videography….it is TOTAL FIRE in my opinion!!! 🔥🔥👏🏼❤️Dan ALWAYS brings the FIRE to everything he does…he pours his best into all he works on. I completely believe in Dan. The VASC is BORN FOR THIS!!!! 🇧🇷Music and artistry is Dan’s wheelhouse. Symphonic metal incorporates classical music, choirs, and orchestra instruments with a heavier drum and guitar sound. It is like modern classical music with amps, increased volume, and ROCKS the listeners, LOL!!! 😅I loved your thoughts and great comments….they were right on!!! Welcome to VASCNATION!! Dan is an amazingly skilled and gifted singer, Brazilian good looks also!! Classically trained.

Hooray! I've been hoping you two would grab this one and go with it. 😀 Dan didn't have a "former band." Since his early years in his quest to build his RU-vid Channel, he already HAD a band: FEARLESS. He did some session singing with Orion's Reign (from Greece). Some people have somehow gathered that Dan actually went to Finland to sing with them, which is ALSO not true. They did all of their collaborations digitally, just as other artists have done with Dan over the years. He didn't stick with singing for/with them a very long time. He says that he couldn't do that and still work on his own goals. You can find a couple of OLD videos on Dan's channel that showed how he and FEARLESS started out, in their younger days. The band is still together, and there are vague hints about a second original album that has been being put together. Their first album is called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom," and it's fabulous (it can be simply listened to, or purchased, on Spotify, iTunes, etc. Every member in the band, now has their own YT channel (Davi has two of them). Dan and Davi Vasc have been friends of Gabriel and Giovanni since they were kids going to school and church together. Back to Orion's Reign. You might notice that though Dan is very obviously the "moving force" of this AC/DC cover, his name is not shown in the credits, anywhere! Interesting... - - - - - - - - - - "SYMPHONIC METAL" is basically when "strings" get involved. Here's a pretty good over-all definition: "Symphonic metal is a cross-generic style designation for the symphonic subsets of heavy metal music subgenres. It is used to denote any metal band that makes use of symphonic or orchestral elements. Characterized by similarity of sound, as words. ORCHESTRAL... Of, relating to, or resembling an orchestra. Composed for or performed by an orchestra: orchestral works. ORCHESTRA... A group of performers on various musical instruments, including especially stringed instruments of the viol class, clarinets and flutes, cornets and trombones, drums, and cymbals, for playing music, as symphonies, operas, popular music, or other compositions. (In a modern theater) the space reserved for the musicians, usually the front part of the main floor (orchestra pit ). The entire main-floor space for spectators. - - - - - - - - - - So there you go. Basically, "Symphonic Metal," is what I said, above. No bagpipes. All of the music is being produced by the couple of different types of guitars and the electronic keyboard that you'll see flash in and out, throughout the song. - - - - - - - - - - LOVED your reaction. Thank you for your continued response to this wonderful cover by Dan. It was very interesting. Dan sang in the band Orion's Reigh as a guest singer between 2016 and 2017. However, Dan left the band to make his own music. It was certainly a learning experience for him.

Symphonic power metal is Dan's favorite genre to perform. It does combine traditional heavy metal guitars and drums, but also includes symphony or orchestral music as well as choirs, and powerful operatic vocals. All of which are part of Dan's skillset. Dan's voice can be heard on most of the tracks on Orion's Reign Scores of War album. I believe he wrote much of it, also. It is excellent and well worth a listen to. I don't think he can be seen in any of the videos but his voice is very distinct. He was amazing as always on Thunderstruck. Thanks for reacting to it.

The power and humor is so awesome. Dan made one album with Orion's Reign, and also a number of Christmas songs with OR and Norwegian Minniva - they are equally humorous. But even when they make it super funny, they never compromise on the quality of their musical delivery - and that's the trademark I've learned that Dan holds to the center of importance in all his music.

Great reaction. Symphonic metal is the usual guitars and drums along with a wide variety of other instruments and sometimes choirs and even full orchestras. Dan was a session singer for Orion's Reign but they listed him as a band member. They put out some very cool music together but Dan left to pursue his own music. I would imagine they were very sorry to lose him. In this video , the people shown are the three band members and the rest are fans.

He is kind and has a sweet soul, but he also stands up for what he believes. He has a great sense of humor and appears truly humbles when he talks to his fans.
