Thanks for ELVIS, ✔️ out Patch it up Baby and Just Pretend , two totally different genres, but he was the master and he commands the stage with just a simple gesture, none of his group knew what was going on with him , but you can see like in the song Polk Salad Annie Vegas, 1970, how his drummer just watches and waits for the next move , it's Pure Magic and Fire like no other artist ever , also please react to Elvis singing Bridge Over Trouble water im Vegas 1970, Stay with the MAN Among Men Elvis is forever and Always TCB 1935
Blessed to have grown up in Florida during this time. Their music resonates the true Florida lifestyle. Was a true follower of Skynyrd! Cried the day of their plane crash! My favorite group aside from the Beatles. Unimaginable times are missed🙏
This band are 33rd degree masons. Words are an allegory for Bible stories in the New Testament. The waiter is Jesus and the Miller is St John writing about Revelations . Check out Conquistador if you get a chance
LOL, I've seen many genre performers in concert and one of the best was New Year's Eve in the late 60's with Chuck Berry live! Hit of the night, My Little Ding-a-Ling, nuff said
A good spoken word song is by Red Sovine called "Roses For Mama". He did a lot of trucking songs back when CB radio was more popular. If you like this song check out "Teddy Bear" or "Phantom 309".
His people had to watch Elvis all the time ,because you never knew what he was going to do ,also you can never take your eyes off him ,because you never knew what he was going to do either ,he is a great singer ,and performer
Yes...Sabaton. You should definitely look into their music, as well. It's not just music, it's true stories about soldiers and battles, and freedom gained. I loved the look on your face when you started seeing the changes of styles and the different instruments. Also...yes...he plays the rhythm instruments, as well. The wonderful thing, is that we don't have to figure out what part we love the best, because it's all so great. I just let it all soak in...pretty much the same way I do with Dan Vasc's music as well. There's also a group of three siblings that you should check out for greatness, also. I checked to see if you guys had reacted to them yet, and you haven't. They are called "Life in 3D." They are very phenomenal -- two brothers (either end of the age spectrum) and their sister (right in the middle). They are HUGELY flexible. Each of them has a definite style, and they blend all of what they have, together, in a way that is simply gorgeous. They can do a number of genres, and they also do duets and solos. They are college-aged, and, again...fantabulous. I'm not making an official request...just sayin'... 😀 Thank you, Corey, for the wonderful reaction.
That was the original members Ronnie Van zant got killed the guy in the Steve Gaines got killed and his sister got killed in the wreck Steve gay was a guitar player on the far left hand side
Yes he had a full band in the 70s till he died in Aug 1977. 50s and 60s Different ones backing him. You'd really love POLK SALID ANNIE 1970 LIVE. Oh Wow!!
I think something that gets overlooked is in Baz’s interview with Elvis’ childhood friend (sorry, can’t remember his name) stated that his mom wouldn’t let him bring his guitar outside, so he would pretend with a broom he kept in his treehouse. The friend said Elvis couldn’t mimic any musical sound with his mouth when he’d pretend to play. I can believe it. His voice IS an instrument ♥️👑♥️
I grew up on country in the 50s, 60s, until I heard on tv The Doors and my eyes were opened. I like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, saw them in ‘75 El Paso, Lynyrd Skynyrd, but still go back to country for certain times….
You witnessed the greatest performer ever Elvis there's so much more to come from him it's a never ending catalogue from the goat thank you great reaction 🎉
Your dissection of Gary's playing was top notch my man, Gary was an absolute genius, i feel i don't need to say anymore. I totally appreciate your comments, i truly do❤️
The formula for a successful concert? Simply put- rather you are entertaining an audience of 50,000 or just having a handful of friends over to your house for refreshments and Rummi Cube- GET YOUR GUESTS TO ENJOY THEMSELVES. Prince knew and worked that formula to death! He would wow and floor the audience with his commanding performance thru his singing and instrumentality, and then lay the instruments down and get them all moving and pumped. Literallly wear them out! And that is why those who experienced it once, ALWAYS came back for more when he showed up in their cities to see what else he had up his sleeve. And 3 or 4 encores later on- They STILL couldn't get enough.

By the way when I saw him in Miami during this song he took off his macrame belt and began whipping his drummer Ronnie Tutt screaming at him “Faster, FASTER!!!!” He was incredible.
I saw Elvis 3x…Miami, Madison Square Garden and on Long Island. He used the same band on tour that he used in Vegas. He has so many great bits. Try Love Me Tender, Bridge Over Troubled Water, In The Ghetto, etc. All these songs live in Vegas….You Gave Me A Mountain, American Trilogy, Big Hunka Love all live in Hawaii….that’ll keep you goin for a few weeks. When I saw Elvis this was next to closing before he did his finale Can’t Help Falling In Love which just brought the house down!! Love your channel!!
