Ormonde is definitely fixated on the curly haired young man in the black T-Shirt with the shark on it...everytime he appears Ormonde's head & ear's go up, he's actually on full alert & staring the young man in the eye challenging him "come & have a go if you think you're hard enough".... Ormonde is doing what he's there to do, he's guarding the entrance to the King's palace.... This trooper is one of the best where Ormonde is concerned, she's experienced, alert to his behaviour but loyal, kind & caring of her horse, she won't tolerate any disrespect toward's her or Ormonde & he fully respect's her... They're a winning combination ❤❤❤❤

It amazes me that they think almost being bitten by a horse is funny. I raised horses and have been bitten. It is not fun or funny.

Standing directly under the sign that says "WARNING"...and they laugh and go back and are bitten and blame the Guard.

Ormonde is awesome but so are all the other horses love the Kings lifeguards, Royals and Blues and the troopers. Stay who you were meant to be John you're love of all the guards and horses shines through.

Very nice piece of horsemanship by the guard at 25:45 , subtly offering a correction to the horse to redirect his head and prevent him from biting the young children. Normally I say tourists are on their own, so if they misbehave they get bit.🤷‍♀️ But it was a good job by the guard to watch out for the little children, seeing as their parents were too busy taking pictures to give a thought to their safety.

A horse’s left eye is their “rapid reaction eye” - the side they usually prefer to have anything they aren’t sure about. The side they can react quickly to if necessary. But it seems like Ormonde has two rapid reaction eyes cos he reacts “rapidly” to idiots on both sides. I love how he lulls them in by pretending to be in “snooze mode” then lunges just as they think they’re safe with that nice, placid little horsey. His mission today seems to be to teach some pushy tourusts their manners. But he does give them a warning pre-lunge. Laid back ears shows he’s angry and/or in territorial protection mode. Accompany pinned back ears with flared nostrils and that’s a clear “sod off if you know what’s good for you” message. It’s not Ormonde’s fault if those pesky tourist don’t speak horse. Kudos to the lady trooper who manages to keep a straight face throughout. Not wanting to sound bitchy at all - honestly - but couldn’t the lady almost wearing that black top find one in her size?

Just love how Ormonde pretends to be so relaxed, he draws them and then wham he gets them 😂😂😂😂
