I very much enjoy the way you describe fragrances. You are a great addition to the fragrance community. Ta'if sounds very interesting, I love the smell of saffron in fragrances and this one is intriguing since you say it would be nice for summer. I haven't smelled any fragrances from Ormonde Jayne yet. I need to find some shops that sell niche fragrances. I'm about an hour from NYC, now is the time to start shopping in cities, but that's not happening any time soon! I'll have to check out Lucky Scent for samples. Thanks for the review! Stay safe and take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
I actually love this and many other Ormonde Jayne fragrances but I just can't with their prices, and I am unaware of any discounters that carry this brand. I also find that they don't last very long on my skin. Great review!
This one sounds nice; I like perfumes with saffron. I have Ormonde Jayne Champaca (you made me go get it and just spritz some on); I definitely want to try Ta’if also. 🌸
I love saffron in perfumes, too! I haven't tried Champaca, but it's definitely on my to try list. Ta'if is definitely one that should be tried first; apparently, it smells different from person to person and the saffron doesn't always come out as strongly
Not a fan of the house, them and Clive Christian put me off with their prices. I was expecting to be blown away when I smelled them and just wasnt. Maybe I should revisit them now, a few years later, my nose has changed.
I've recently been able to get a couple of bottles on sale in Australia for almost half price and that definitely helps! I'm in the camp if having been in love with these fragrances since first sniffing Ormonde Woman but they seem to be quite polarising :)
I'm still on the fence! If it was cheaper (like around $160 USD), I'd definitely get it. It's hard for me to find this fragrance discounted in the States.
