For this pour I used an ornament as a way to travel paint around a canvas, semi injecting it into the base layer paint. I started by covering the canvas with Artist's Loft Black mixed 50/50 Floetrol to paint and water to consistency (as are all my other colors), i also added in Hemway Holographic Gold Glitter. I left a puddle in the center to help with injecting the paint and helping it travel. I found that you also have to be super careful about lifting the ornament to let the paint out. At first I wasn't really lifting much and then when I did i got those nice big ribbons! i decided to spin it most to even out the paint and then i came in and tapping the spots where paint was missing from the edge.
This is such a fun pour to do with kids! My kids were actually there doing this pour with me and even picked out the colors! You can even see when I first start to really lift up the ornament is when one of my kids knocked over one of the lights and i caught it before it fell and put it back up lol I
Bonus Use a clear one and get a new ornament and painting!
