Sometimes the momma's forget they've rejected a baby and allow them so suck. It looks like she's busy feeding and not focused on who's nursing. I would still supplement with a bottle at least twice a day until he's 8 weeks old. He's absolutely adorable 😍

The baby goats are all so cute! I'm glad Darryl's mom is letting him still nurse from time to time. I hope it is not anything serious with Kora that is causing her to limp. I know you are keeping an eye on her. That was large clutch of eggs that the Cayuga ducks have laid in the old red dog house. Hopefully you will get some ducklings from it. Mojo is his fabulous self. It was good seeing Smeegle and Skeeter, too.

Hey guys, Please stop the puppy food for Cora. Large and giant breeds need to grow slowly. If you remember I’ve been a Mastiff owner since 1994. One of my English Mastiffs ( Brando was his name) developed limping in his front legs , from 5 months until 10 months. My vet diagnosed him as having Panosteitis . Basically growing pains. Brando out grew it . Give Cora/Kora a good food meant for giant breeds. Also thank you guys for not mating her before her time. Kudos to you all ! Love you guys 💜

That's interesting that your vet said stay on puppy chow for issue with Cora. Our vet said reduce calories as they are growing too quickly and get them off puppy chow. Do weight and calorie ratio to determine food. Interesting how different vets advise different things. Frustrating. We went to adult feed, reduced amount of feed to calorie weight and 3 months later no limp.

Do you know that homemade beef broth is good for both dogs. Has collagen which helps with joint and hips and many other things. They make tablets as well. Just letting y’all know in case she has a joint issuer in the paw or legs or hips. Cora is a beautiful dog and Leeski heard the rambling of the plastic and was like ummmm dad really you thought I wouldn’t hear that now give up the hotdog lol. Good for tissue as well!

Kora's limp is much worse. Glad you're bringing her back to Vet. You might want to talk to the breeder about her injury. It could be a very slim thorne-like sliver -- soaking in epsom salts can help.

We have a cat with Pillow Paws. It’s an autoimmune disease and dogs can get it too. It’s very very painful. I never heard* of pillowpaws before until this year. Maybe ask the vet if she could have it . Maybe it has something to do with her “heat cycle”.
