Raw, aggressive, unpredictable, uncompromising - four words to describe this band. I really haven't heard such a pissed off and authentic band since Slipknot's Iowa era. I love death metal and deathcore bands like Dying Fetus, Cytotoxin, Whitechapel and so on. However, their aggression is rather calculated while this band Orphan goes balls to the walls like I usually only see it from grindcore and powerviolence bands like Magrudergrind for example. Orphan's vocalists genuinely sound and look like they're about to snap, MFers about to go on a killing spree. The aggression is real
Thanks for uploading!!! I have been following the Orphan project.. Idk maybe this is a time to share thoughts about the band, now that you can see it played live. 1st of all, I just appreciate the fact we can go online and find a show you could not attend to in a matter of a few days is just crazy lol. About the band: the raw energy is truly awesome. They bring out so much emotions, playing live and the studio album. I literally beat the shit out of my steering wheel lol. I have always been a fan of the most brutal shit out there. I hope this band becomes successful on this new path of music. Vocally I hope they don’t blow their shit before touring. You can just feel the raw anger and emotions pouring out, which is beautiful, I always look for that in a vocalist, not always trying to be spot on, just doing their thing. But as for a band like this, I really hope to see the vocalist become the best at what they do. Perfecting that type of vocal skills and reserving their energy to last the entire set, they will be untouchable. Mad props to Orphan!!! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Oh yeah I could tell anybody their vocals are unhealthy, especially the guy with the highs/psycho screams..give it a little while and their vocal chords will be decimated
@@lukonious1774 josh tore his vocals while recording the record. at this concert he damaged his esophagus so they're taking a hiatus. Jacob doesn't use methods josh does and is doing just fine vocally wise
they beat the shit out of each other on stage for years, it’s the brotherly love. i don’t think they are going anywhere, just gonna lay low until they are ready to release new music. The whole experience and mysteriousness of them is so incredible.
@@tlc_nerv I stand corrected. Yes I know they smack each other around, they’ve been doing the same when they were in Strangled. But I understood one of them tore the lining of his esophagus during the show. This explains why the sudden disappearance. I wish him a speedy recovery back to brutality!
They deleted their Facebook because they're going on a temporary hiatus. Unfortunately Josh tore a huge hole in his esophagus at this show and probably won't be doing vocals for awhile.

It basically means he can’t move past something if he doesn’t face it and fight back. “Swinging” in this context means to throw a punch like in a fight. So he’s saying he can’t move forward if he doesn’t confront the issue.
Definitely a studio band, doesn’t translate well live doesn’t even sound like the same track vocally especially would be hard to get into I’d feel like i was scammed
