In this episode, I buy some 5D carbon fiber and install it on my steering wheel. The job requires me to remove the steering wheel in order to properly install it.

i have on one on my hondas a while back and came out decent not perfect but decent lol, maybe one day i will try it on my 2016 WRX STi :)

+1dickycat no it feels like a carbon hood, slick, but u can see texture inside it. It's like it's under resin. It's not printed, like the cheaper stuff is.

Ortega Drives Nice! I might have to try it out. I did an interior of my buddies civic in the old stuff like 5 years ago, was not pleased in the pixelated look, but just on video I could tell the difference. Makes me wonder what the 3M 1080 stuff would look like...

Ortega Drives Very true! Myself, I'd think I'd rather go with a flat vinyl in my interior just cuz I hate any kind of glare in my car. Whole reason I Flocked my dash in my z31... Them 80's can get terrible for that after 30+ years

You could have just turned the wheel and reached behind to get the Phillips screws for the silver pieces. Removing the wheel is overkill but you may not have known. Was easy when I did it.
