Not really most modern rifles are made of plastic metal and other components and blowing then apart would not need that huge of explosion just a directed one. Explosive force can be directed and VERY acculturate in many cases

There needs to be a comic wherein the outcomes of the criminals are the same as the classic comics, but the events leading up to them reveal the perps to be 100% innocent, and the cops are just taking Bat's side. Same can't be said for Spider-Man because he always had photographic evidence from strategically-webbed cameras.

I know it's a joke but when applied the right force human body can be as fragile as glass. Take for example the force difference between a human and a chimpanzee or gorilla, now batman besides being near superhuman in terms of strength, he's also an expert martial artist and knows exactly where to strike to incapacitate his enemies with long-term injuries when he "touches" them

If you think about it, it’s actually worse that he leaves them alive. Now they have to spend months if not years recovering from debilitating injuries. And I guarantee at least half of them were regretting their poor life choices.

@@classact9557 I would rather suffer years of serious injuries (and I have, although not to that degree) than be dead. Though by the sounds of it, these injuries would more likely kill you, leave you paralyzed for life, or at the very least cause life-lasting pain and severely limit some of your limbs (if they're not amputated altogether).

Stop spreading missinformation. Batman killed when he was originally invented about 80 years ago. Shortly after his no-kill rule was established. It's not "a newer" thing it's been there for almost the entirety of Batman's rather long time in the comic industry. He also doesn't kill in any of his cartoon or videogame representations either. The only exceptions being people like Thomas Wayne, Jason Todd or Azrael who have taken the name "Batman" but are not the same character. There are Elseworld stories where Bruce kills but they aren't canon and it's always made clear its not connected to the main comics. Lastly, it's pretty much just the Burton and Snyder movues that ignore the no-killing rule which objectively makes them misrepresentations of Batman. tl:dr Batman doesn't kill, the main version doesn't and neither do most of his adaptions. It's a core part of the character and it's been there for ages. Stop spreading poorly researched misinformation if you clearly haven't the foggiest idea what you are actually saying.

@@THEJOKER-jc3gr I mean... while that was sorta the point it's still ignoring the fact that the actual Batman never crosses that line. Comics pretty much make a point of showing how far off the deep end Batman would go if he started killing. The BvS Batman in comparison is rather sane. Don't get me wrong I get the idea of showing a much darker, violent Batman who lost all his hope and crossed the line. Even if only to make it so Superman inspired him to be better again. But it's still a misrepresentation of the character, as that version of Batman broke his biggest rule and got off fairly easily. That might work in an Elseworld story (which the DCEU arguably is) but considering it's the most mainstream representation of the character you'd think they would go for something more accurate to the core of Batman's character. Also, I think you're giving Snyder a bit too much credit. I genuinely like the guy AND his movies, but I'd be lying if I said the guy's perception of Batman isn't basically "Frank Miller's but even more extreme". The guy cited the Burton movies and RU-vid Killcounts as a source to claim Batman "kills all the time". That's just factually not true. Not to mention that, if his intention was to show how bad Batman's killing is, he certainly sends a mixed message by letting him stylishly knock people into grenades or wield a fucking shotgun. Batman vs Superman would have worked just as well (if not arguably WAY better) if his Batman didn't kill before and his decision to kill Superman would have been him crossing the line. It'd be more in line with how a comic accurate Batman would act considering almost every Elseworld version of him that DID cross the line (which Batfleck has clearly done already) he wouldn't come back from it as easily and arguably just escalate even more. I mean fuck the infamous "Martha" scene would have worked way better if Snyder didn't decide to break Batman's most important rule. Because let's be real, the idea behind the scene isn't bad at all, but the execution in the context of the rest of the movie falls incredibly flat. So to put it simply. While BvS didn't "ignore" the killing rule from a narrative sense, it still used it in a way that basically breaks one of the core parts of Batman's character. That's arguably just as bad.

In The Dark Knight Rises, it looked to me that Bane didn’t break Batman’s spine, but just dislocated a few vertebra; the suit protected him. This was how he still felt pain in the prison cell and why the prison doctor’s technique worked.

That's prolly not a good idea. If one is to use just a bit too much force, it would sever the spinal cord and cause either instant death or permanent paralysis.

In one of the games a random mook says: "batman's here?! screw this, I'm going home. Last time I spent 6 months in Hospital, not doing that again." Still tracked him down, and laid the smack on him.

Also doesn’t your body release adrenaline when you’re scared? That would probably lessen the pain. I suppose dead with Spider-Man is better than your whole body crippled with Batman.

If you know anything about the dark knight returns, he does not kill. He has gone on to state that guns are the weapons of cowards before proceeding to break one over his knee.

the original batman also carried a gun and he used said gun at the dismay of thugs who found themself in front of it.

In the more modern comics Bruce takes it from the crime scene too, this way he actually stops police from getting prints from it. In Year Two (non-canonical) he carries it again for a while. In the BvS movie the Knightmare sequence has Batman use that very same gun.

I think that's Zack Snyder's style. Too many movies gloss over or laugh off the consequences of violence, Snyder's said he prefers to show something closer to the reality. Do some of the movie moves, and it's going to hurt and/or take weeks to months of post-operative rehabilitation.

Tbf, humans are fragile in certain situations. Your bones can stand immense amount of compression force but suffer under shearing force. There are no small amount of people who suffered what should of been certainly fatal but survived. The human body is enigma of both fragility and strength.
