If you liked Ortisei, chances are good you'll fall in love with 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐮𝐬𝐚 (bit.ly/chiusa-walking-tour). It's about 28 km. from 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐢 and definitely worth a visit! 🙂 We've also published 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨 👉 bit.ly/merano-tour ...and 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐧 👉 bit.ly/brixen-tour
@Aegon we loved the aesthetics throughout the village...really exudes tranquility 😌. Would you go to Ortisei to enjoy the stunning backdrop shown at 20:47 along the Trenker promenade?
choking on tears right now. every single frame of this video reminds me of my ski trips with my brother who visited ortisei every winter for the last 8 years , last time being in january 2020. 9 months later he was diagnosed with the type of brain cancer which virtually means delayed death warrant. to make matters worse as a result of two surgeries that followed he also suffers from short term memory loss and impaired vision. he cant remember if he brushed his teeth five minutes ago but his travel memories are clear and vivid. im sure he will enjoy this video.
What an intense story @rhomai. We really hope this video brings back beautiful memories for your friend, at least the ones you know can never be forgotten for a lifetime. We wish you all the best ❤️
Beautiful film. The information you provide is useful and relevant and your film technique is superb. May I suggest you provide information about the date and time of day. Thank you. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We are watching Chiusa next.
Great suggestion! We have added the date in description. 🙂 Carol, don't forget to let us know what you think about 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐮𝐬𝐚, we would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Beautiful town! Thank you for showing me the details! I'm planning to hike in Dolomite next summer. I'd like to stop by Ortisei and go up to Seceda. Do you know if there is a shuttle or public transportation between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo?
Ti è mai capitato passeggiare in questi villaggi alpini in passato? 🙂
Most beautiful place in Northern Italy. We spent 6 holidays there, winter, spring and autumn. I found one mistake in your beautiful overview: you mention the "Rio Gardena River" (at 18.30) but, I believe, that is the Anna River which flows into the Gardena river. The gardena river flows along the auto-road outside the centre of the town.
Great catch laatgeleerd! Some users had reported it to us but didn't tell us the name of that river, you did 🙂 We've fixed the subtitles by replacing "Rio Gardena" with "Val D'Anna river", thank you very much! We visited Ortisei in Autumn, and loved the shades of orange, red and yellow as well the breathtaking views of Val Gardena. Do you think it's as beautiful in winter and summer as well?
Ortisei has been known for centuries as a home for experienced, expert wood carvers. They're especially famous for making religious statues that are commonly found in and around the village.
Obrigadaaa por postar! Adorei o passeio..

Thank you Barbara for your feedback. In the next videos we' ll add a few more seconds before the subtitles disappeared 😉. Can you check the time interval for the subtitles of the video on Merano and tell us if they are right for you?
Fiori, Ortisei é uma cidade muito relaxante, o que pensa em vez de Silves (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bHyLklVJlT0.html) em Portugal? Foi também uma experiência agradável lá.
Nowadays when you want to live anywhere in the world, check if it's not located too near volcanoes. Because now we know no volcano is completely dormant
@Luisa, If you have time, watch the new video of Merano (bit.ly/merano-tour), there're many public art projects inside we think you might enjoy (read the description 😉).
Moroder we hope to get more comments from locals like you, they really help us improve our script. Regarding your question, if you notice, we've shown the Adler hotel at 12:12. Would you like us to add a description as well? We've removed "vineyards" word (it was our mistake). Can you tell us the correct name of the 18:44 river? 🙂
