I just looked on Amazon i found ortur laser master 3 with the air assist 10W for $559.99 that's not bad at all. Wow i just found a ortur 20w laser with 40L air assist for $583.23 that's even better
Thank you very much for the videos I find them very educational and professional 😁💖 sending positive vibes your way and seasoned blessings for the new year 😎
You sir have just got yourself another subscriber. Excellent video, and we look forward to watching more. Quick question if I may. We are looking to make an enclosure for the laser (to protect those in close proximity to the laser, from the laser), have you any advice regarding the safety perspex specifications? I'd assume it would match the safety glasses. Thank you
I got an email from Ortor the other day anouncing the Laser Master LE, I havent read it yet so I dont know what benefits or features it has over this one.
I am so glad I found your channel. I bought this laser over 4 months ago and it is still in the box. I’m 72 and my software learning isn’t as good as it once was. I have watched several reviews and setup videos and I got more and more confused. I likely have 20 or more videos saved and I have not watched more than a couple of them to the end. All the makers went thru the steps so quickly, assuming I guess that the viewers had previous laser or design experience. They went from one button to the next so quickly I couldn’t find their curser until it was somewhere else. I haven’t watched yours to the end yet but I am excited to do that. Tomorrow I am going to take that sucker out of the box and make something. Thanks for being such a great teacher.
wondering if you can help, I've just bought a flash forge creator pro2 and I'm stuck, trying to find a program that I can load a stl file then change colour of parts of it, like the eyes mouth etc. Can you help?
Thanks again. I have been following you since you began. You have helped me learn 3d printing. I love the fact that you are branching out into the hobbyist lazers. I have been using one for several months and with the help of the LA hobby guys video. I wanted to offer one small thing that I learned. Instead of the aluminum Hunny comb get the steel. Magnets are a great way to secure or position a project. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait till you decide to try cnc. Stay safe.
Hi there and thank you as usual for all you do. Would you please be able to do a video on how to create a small house with tabs for laser cutting in freecad? Thank you!
Yes it does. The laser just bounces of clear acrylic but there are several ways you can fool it. Something as simple as putting a black sheet of cardstock behind it or you can paint the surface black first and wash the paint off when it is done or you can put a mask on it (or leave the paper on it that the acrylic comes with,do your design and then peel off the masking paper.
Yep. Ortur sells feet for the laser, but I just put mine on rubber blocks used under an appliance. These devices really only move around a little, as 3d printers do.
Interesting Laser. BUT PLEASE Have a TENT around the Laser. What would happen if a child get into the room? I would not expect them to have protective glasses on, when they come around to talk to you! I think Thise Lasers i dangerous without a tent to protect from the laser and extract fumes.
