Just bought it the other day and put it to use. With the sling on your front, there is a small hidden compartment the right lower of the tippet holder. Its an inside outside pocket, where i have my nippers attached with a zinger inside. Pretty clever and keeps them out of the way. Good review. I have been looking for a sling for months. I got mine for less than 100 bucks at a local fly shop. Totally worth the money.
I'm glad the video helped you. I was in the same boat as you and was doing a lot of research and there wasn't many good videos on this pack. That is why I did the review. Tight lines!
Hey John…thanks for the great review. How do you like how your net hangs off the d loop? I think I may like it better than than the net sticking out at a 45 degree angle. What accessories are you using to connect your net to the d loop?
Hi David, thanks for watching. I'm using a magnetic tether I bought on Amazon. Here is the link. amzn.to/3vcWvf6 . I like the net being there. It takes a little practice getting the magnets to connect after catching a fish but it's a great setup.
I have an older version of this pack and love it. The only thing I wish the water bottle holder was different. Wading some rivers that aren't exactly clean you can easily dunk your water bottle since it's on the bottom.
