FSC you have the ability to show everything that’s going on around your truck and trailer as you pound the pavement. You are probably one of the ones that does it the best. Love the shot of the cam off the blade on the over sized side. It’s out there for sure. Every video I watch of yours makes the calling to go back out on the road that much louder. After surviving a cancer that almost killed me, sadly, my best days and trucking days are unfortunately behind me. The wind still flows through my hair and to be a driver is still there but the strength to pull it all off might not be. But the dream still is.. Great job FSC…

I have noticed your heavy breathing on numerous videos and it reminded me of a guy I used to work with. We were doing a wire pull one day out in the plant and every time we took a pause he was leaning up against a beam gasping for air which I thought was odd because he didn't smoke and I did but was no where near that winded. He ended up needing open heart surgery but that took care of his being short on breath.

I gradually got that breathing problem and thought it was my heart until I finally had extensive testing done to find I only had 45% of my lungs left and had to get oxygen tanks. My problem is due to working with asbestos in the 1960's blowing it on high rise iron and in tunnels for fireproofing. I'm 78 and thought I was it wouldn't get me after all thesse years. But, surprise, surprise.

Wow, late January. The prices for fuel, Gas 2.99 and Diesel 3.49 and now.... just jumped 2 dollars in the mid 4.50 to 500 dollars of more. Summer time going to get worse..

Daryl Thisdelle, men i now what you feel, you like truck driving butt after your illness , your power for hole day workings on a truck it is over.. and this FSC channel, i am a BIG fan off this FSC truck road filming, and my feeling with that 3 go pro's on this combination is that i am sitting after that wheel... Hello....Greetings from Europe. For starters, Orwell has the best engine acceleration sound ever heard !!! On the subject of your fuel filter issue on your CAT 3406 - Josh from the RU-vid channel "Adapt Ape" is CAT engine mechanic in a CAT dealer and he refers to Fuel system issues in many of videos. Or you can always drop him a quick e-mail. I remember that this is/was a known problem. Drive safely and have a good one! Cheers, HD

Haven't watched in a while. Now I remember why. Used to hear the turbo and a lot more engine sound. Music sucks....sounds like something they would play in a nursing home. Glad to see you haven't ever painted that rusty rim!

when i was a brand new rookie, just got off my 90 day trial. i heard it was best to get one of those scanners to detect police checking you speed. i kept it on my dash, but one time i forgot to remove it and the Tn. scale officer took it. cant remember if i got a ticket or a warning, but from then on i never got one those scanners again. except for Ohio and Calif. i never had to worry about going over the truck speed limit. oh and btw, in both those states i did 60-65 and never worrided about tickets as the chips always passed by me. in Calif if youjr doing 60-65 and put on your brakes to slow down, the chips will pull you over for endangering traffic. so never apply your brakes. dont know what it is now.

Yeah the cat fuel filters micron is 3 most aftermarket are 10or above so they will catch more sheeeeit so they are better use them exclusively on my cat. Truck on brother 🤙🏻🤘🏻✌🏻🚛💨

when i vwas driving in snow country, mostly in the northern states, i always put half of the additive per tank every time i fueled up. never had a problem. sometimes id go nutts and put a full bottle in each, but the stuff, i preferred was expensive, and i always bought a case if i had enough money, at the time of purchase.

When you cross the Mississippi River on 57 into Illinois, you are in bear trap land. The county mounties are ridiculous and vicious, because the ticket they write fund the county. The ISP lets the local municipalities do their job. The county boys, and even troopers, will sometimes have folks on overpasses with radar and seatbelt checker guns, plus chasers on the big road level. When you are above Marion, the heat lets off some. They hid very well in the bushes and ramps. The Effingham troop is the next heat if you stay on that rough road, not that any roads off it it are any better. Keep the shiny side up!

Great video Steve really enjoy all the camera angles and your commentary and the music. Glad to see you roll out of the scale with no problem it's interesting how many trucks they had pull in. But you were the only one that went across the scale. Is it because of you being oversized or they just want to look at you for what you are hauling?

I cant speak for all scales, but the ones I went through everyday in South Dakota would pull you onto the scale, or pull you around just for a power trip. Wish they would start inspecting cars going down the road as much as trucks, get some of those assholes off the road.

Steve keep a check on you’re potassium level because Lisinopril will make it go up and if your potassium level gets to high it can cause kidney damage. I am having to deal with kidney problems because of taking Lisinopril.

Try being me I take that med but also 2 meds that eat potassium like it is candy. I literally have to take a supplement to have enough potassium in my body for it to function. Yet another medication I take causes me to have kidney stones. So tough choice deal with the stones or have a seizure.

@@haroldbenton979 I take Potassium Supplements but Allopurinol for kidney stones. If I’m out during warmer weather (especially hot/humid weather); I’ll start to get muscle cramps, so I’ll drink pickle juice or take salt tablets to relieve the cramping.

Probably asleep. I was coming south on the 101 out Camarillo Ca, with a sketchy load of oversize machine cribbing pallets. I swear the guy had his head down on the desk. My dispatcher sent me there to pick up the load without permits or signage because no one told him they were oversize. Made it though.

I heard you talk about your problems with your fuel filters. Could it be that you have thread algae growth in your filters? This can be caused by Biodiesel. I had that problem with my Scania R500 V8. Even the filters of our tank installation at the store suffered from thread algae.

1:42 Wow, a Schneider with blue stripes! I thought all of those trailers were gone!! I'm sure you know what the blue stripes were for. I about had a heart attack on Friday. Went through 2 weigh stations. The first one weighed me and green lighted me out. The second was closed because there was an accident near the exit of the station and traffic was backed up. They had the entrance blocked with a gate and a highway patrol vehicle with lights. I just don't know how to handle it when they don't tell me to park and come inside with my paperwork!!!! What's the world a comin' ta? 14:32 I think I just saw Burt Reynolds on that river. 20:19 Thank goodness they didn't detect the weight of that extra bottle of diesel treat.

Why are you in the passing lane passing traffic with a wide load, they might not see you overtaking them ? The purpose of the signs and flags is to alert vehicles overtaking you, as well as vehicles approaching from the opposite direction that you are oversize or over width. I know you are enamored with Orwell but you are risking a calamity by doing what you are doing!

Because they are going slow and I'm not speed restricted so I can pass them. Noplace in my permits or provisions does it say I can't pass slower traffic.
