Oh my god an that specifically was such a good episode!! I didn’t know I needed beauty pageants in my D&D campaigns but that was when I found out I needed beauty pageants in my D&D campaigns
thank you so much for this compilation, it helped my friend understand the joke wayyyy better. also, as someone from the American South, the amount of pie they feed Orym is incorrect - the reality is MORE.
Watching Aabria invoke the energy of southern grandmas was priceless. She really saw 3 ft nuthin' Orym with his slim physique and wanted to give him somethin' that would stick to his stomach.
I need ANY reason for Bell's Hells to go to Byroden and just osmosis here wtf the Crown Keepers were up to there... And to find out how big a food celebrity Orym is there 😂
‘youre so small youre blowing in the wind’ such a good fucking joke i love aabria like that’s literally the point of the war dancers of zephrah is to blow in the wind the poetry of it all 😭😭😭 and with my LOVE LANGUAGE OF GIVING PEOPLE TOO MUCH FOOD TOO???? goddamn
Imagine listening to the internet hive mind and skipping ExU just because you heard "it's bad." Girl, these 8 episodes were the most fun I've had watching an AP in forever. Just an absolute joy. The pie-detour had practically no impact on character or story development, but it adds so much flavor (pun intended) to everyone involved.
Having been around small town competition bakers, Aabria almost captured how truly feral and rabid they can be around new vict-er…new friends…tasters…victims, I’m sorry but we all know that the most accurate word is victim.
she was pretty nice, some people for some stupid ass reason thought she was bullying aimee the whole time, like both aabria and aimee have said nothing happened yet some people are still asking for aabria to apologize to her
@@Badusername2000 welp maybe they picked up on underlayer because sometimes IT can be like that oooorrrr those were the kind of people who never got bullied and now think that everything is act of bullying oř they are teenagers who got bullied and were in that sensitive state of "healing"
I think the heavy food culture is more from the Lord of the Rings hobbits than d&d halflings - while halflings are definitely inspired by hobbits they’re not quite the same (unless of course you play them that way in your games, in which case halflings can definitely be obsessed with food if you want). But yeah I forget a lot of times that halflings aren’t necessarily the same as hobbits. Idk much about older editions of d&d but they might have been more similar back then - I know d&d originally actually called them hobbits until the Tolkien estate made them stop lol
Orym's from the Air Ashari, who might eat a lot of light flying game, fruit and salad. Imagine a mountaintop druidic culture, that is where Orym is comin' from.
