Man I miss Japan, dude I work for Universal and we just had our employee night for our Hollywood Nintendo World and it's cool but feels a lot smaller than the park in Osaka. Time to use that employee privilege and go to Osaka Universal for free! Now if only I had money...
Love it! The cinematic section was truly amazing! It made me want to move to Japan... But I already live here :) What kind of gimbal did you use for your moving shots? Aloha from Yokohama🤙
@@JasonVong Lol! I've been here for almost 30 years, and I still can't believe I live in Japan. That RS3 Mini is smooth!! If you ever need a tour of Yokohama please let me know.
please share how you edit the color of cinematic vlog it’s so good! I’m desperate thank you 😢 Anw thank you for your vlog i’m going to Japan in few days and your videos are amazing!!!
You should buy the Osaka amazing one day pass for ¥2800 and it includes most every popular site in Osaka and transportation. And is easy to meet the ¥6000 but you only spent ¥2800 and it is not in rush.
I loved your video edition. Awesome work. Also I've been to Japan back in 2004 but i didn't get to see Osaka. Seems like a fun place! Greetings from Croatia
sincerely your video is super amazing, really detailed informative... next time when I go to Osaka definitely I will follow this schedule, thank you so much for your effort!!!
amazing quality! Made me want to go back to Japan again! How do you feel about the lens being f4? Did it feel like enough? I’ve been debating that or the Tamron 20-40
If you have time, check out my review. I linked it in the pin comment of this video. But essentially I enjoyed the extra reach this lens provides me over the Tamron. Both are excellent choices but if low light is too much of an issue, go Tamron! Or the Sony for the flexibility and add a prime lens to your kit!
I just spent 3 months in Osaka and it was fantastic. Really funny to see so many familiar sights here in your video. It seems like everyone on RU-vid has been passing through Osaka recently. I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves.
This sort of video is interesting, because even if I went to Osaka, it wouldn't ever occur to me to go to theme parks or fish restaurants. Would definitely hit the castle and the temples though! So this is educational
Really enjoyed it, makes me more excited to go to Japan… I would be fascinated to see you do something akin to the street photography video with Professor Hines that goes into what you record travel video… Started playing around with my phone gimbal again, but its obviously a whole new skill set and my photography brain doesn’t have the same concepts for doing things in motion…
Thank you! I actually have done something similar for Travel Filmmaking back in 2019: geni.us/g8dIM It's a link to a playlist of videos I've done on Japan as well. There is a particular video that I've done that focuses on gimbal motions as well! Hope it's what you were looking for!
If you have an extra 90 minutes, I strongly suggest joining a meetup. Here you can meet and speak to locals who love speaking English and meeting foreigners.
Best review of super nintendo world !!thank you! only when you are single man or a club going, you will need more days in Osaka because night life is awesome there!
🎉🎉🎉 Just ordered my tickets to Universal n Super Nintendo World! Brah, if I never watch your video, I would’ve missed da window to buy online… I’m only in Osaka from March 25 to 30 and ONLY had tickets available for the 26… 31300yen & the watches where “no stock” on that day😭😭😭… hopefully I can snag one when I get there. Mahaloz for posting y’all’s travels and spots to hit in and around Osaka! Will be using my ZV-1F and 24-70 gm ii to capture all my travels! If you got spots to shoot Mt Fuji in or around the west side of Fuji, PLEASE 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 make a video or leave some suggestions if can, greatly appreciated🤙🏽! My main goals fo dis trip is mainly Sakura & Fuji-san… da rest is xtra! Mahaloz again!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
hey! been following your camera / filming guides a lot and am actually about to go to japan next month to get more vlogs in so this is perfect haha i think one thing i want to mention ( i dont know the exact details) but i think you get can a 1 day / 2 day OSAKA pass which would let you go to those places you visited + more for a relative fair price
Gotta say thank you for sharing Jason! Loved the cinematic shots and overall travel trips you shared. Looking forward to more of your Japan travel vids. I lived in Osaka 7 years ago and I so badly want to go back. I love Japan.
You must be a director of cinematography. First video of Japan I’ve been wowed over. Pls take more in depth of daily life’s or bars…. Food…..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Cheers
your editing/camera is freaking BEAUTIFUL!! doesn't matter if it doesn't have much food recs, BEE-YOO-TEEFUL. very much enjoyed watching this! i've been watching a lot of videos to prep for my trip, but yours is not to be missed. thank you!
I was only able to spend 2 days in Osaka on my recent trip but it kept snowing off and on both days and it was so beautiful. Dotonburi at night is one of my favorite things I've ever experienced!!
I like this format better & enjoy the planning part. How’s your experience with the new 20-70mm? Will you keep it for future trip or going back to 24-70mm gm?
Thank you! If you have the time, definitely check out my review on the 20-70mm: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xy3TFzTj9iA.html Short answer is: It will not be in my kit, at least not for now. I will continue using the 2470GMII (handheld) + 14GM on Gimbal
Interesting. I lived in a city that had an excellent view of the city across the water. I went over there and realized their view of my city was awful. So I see what youre saying
Have you tried the 2-day Osaka Amazing Pass? It's really worth it to travel around Osaka for two days. There are free entrance fees for some popular attractions, incl. Umeda Sky Building.
@@JasonVong There are several places selling this pass. Last time we bought it at Kansai Airport. The price is JPY 3,600 for two days. This pass also enables us to travel free using Metro, city bus and tram.
I just went to Japan a week ago, and boy I'm already nostalgic 😭 I loved it so much, especially the FOOD... I almost did everything you did, except for Universal Studios, sadly. Have to go there next time. What a wonderful trip I had but I didnt get to see you which is a bummer, just like the tsutenaku tower being in renovation. Great instructive guide as always !
The timing of this video could not be more perfect; was going to plan my Osaka itinerary literally this evening :D I really hope I'm able to purchase the 20-70mm lens in March while I'm in Japan 🤞
