He will probably replace alonso in 2023. Don’t worry though, hopefully el plan will stay as alonso becomes alpines driver coach.

@@alexadarraga1764 Is Ocon basically at his level? Alonso struggled badly with the first 5 races, but since Baku, he's been head and shoulders clear of Ocon. He scored points in 13 out of the last 17 races, and the ones he didn't score in were Spa (not even a race), Turkey (started 5th before getting taken out at T1), Austin (Started at the back and was set for a points finish before DNF) and Saudi where he was genuinely just slow. Excluding the first 5 races, Ocon was realistically only "quicker" than Alonso in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi (not counting Hungary because that was all luck).
