I think he did this prank because he was suspicious of her and just wanted to see her reaction

Technically it was Todd’s business. He was the investor and business manager. That’s why she was “okay” leaving. She can’t fire him because he was in charge of it all.

Isn’t it amazing how Preston went from profusely not wanting kids with his HS sweetheart, to now being involved with her friend who has FOUR KIDS that aren’t even his, but instead HIS friends kids!!! Those poor kids. Poor Oscar. Poor Hannah. Bad person kyra.

What was super weird to me during this period was when Todd insisted on changing months-old baby Avery's diaper. Like, why exactly? Why so pushy on that? And Kyra just let him. There's no way I'd let my male business partner who I've known for only weeks change my baby girl. Gross. Unnecessary. And again, why?

Im watching this 5 months later knowing she WAS cheating on him at the time - it wasnt anxiety, it was knowing she was getting caught out

As someone who deals with anxiety I can tell she was just trying to keep it all in, she was trying to have control of a very stressful and embarrassing situation. So when she found out it was a prank it was just too much, all the stress she was holding in was for noting. All for a prank. If this were me I would have probably reacted similarly tbh, bc these things trigger me. I take my relationship very seriously and love my boyfriend so I don’t play around when it comes to stuff like this.

Her reaction was absolutely related to her anxiety and OCD. All she did was try to avoid a serious situation because they have kids and didn't want Oscar getting arrested. People with high anxiety and OCD handle these situations way different from those without. Sometimes it's OK for you to stray from your narrative (Kyra hating), way off the mark with this one.

She probably started thinking, 'he knows. I'm going to have to admit something soon. I think he really knows.' When she found out it was a joke she likely broke down because she started to feel what it was going to feel like if it fell apart.

I gotta be honest, I’m kinda on Kyra’s side in this video. Being accused of adultery is embarrassing and insulting. She probably thought Oscar was going to get in a fist fight and her adrenaline was high, which is why she kept saying “think of the kids.” I have not been a fan of Kyra though this whole endeavor and frequently criticize her behavior, but I feel for her.

What was really cringy was when Todd went on a couple of dates with Oscar’s mum later on

In *real* relationships you don’t do these kinds of pranks to prove your fidelity to random strangers. That’s just weird and not right. It’s bad enough when people do these things to try to find out if their partner would take the bait, but to do it for a RU-vid video is a whole other level of filth. They are both disgusting humans.

Looking at this situation as an isolated incident, I would say this looks more like she’s scared of Oscar’s reaction/temper and is trying her best to de-escalate the situation. Possibly also embarrassed that this is happening in front of employees, and wants to deal with it in the privacy of her home. I can only imagine she was so eager to portray that she would leave it all to show Oscar he meant more to her at the time.

As much as I HATE Kyra for everything she did, this was SUCH an emberassing prank from Oscar's side. Being accused of cheating is so heartbreaking, prank or not. Again, I would never defend her in anything else but from watching years of their vlogs, I always got the sense Oscar had a huge temper. She was probably scared as f*ck he would actually beat the crap outta Todd and cops would be involved. That's why she said they needed to leave and think about the kids.

I'm sorry I know Kara is cringe and crazy, but seeing her cry kinda broke my heart. I feel like he really is/was emotionally abusive. That cry seemed like a cry from someone who literally thought she was about to lose her family. Maybe her leaving now is because she finally got the nerve to say enough is enough. I'm not defending how she acts or anything like that but I definitely feel like there was a lot going on behind closed doors. Neither of them are innocent people but that cry, got me.

Yikes for once I’m with Kyra here. She seems genuinely distressed. I think finding out it was a prank and not a genuine concern happening caused her embarrassment and confusion. I would be upset too. I think in the moment when she says she’s “not stressed” she’s trying to remain calm in an awkward situation in front of coworkers.

This is the first time I truly feel sorry for her. This was absolutely so mean and I think I would have reacted similar. You could tell she was trying so hard to hold it together and then when she learned it was a prank it all bubbled over into bawling.

This video makes me wonder if Hannah and Preston were already in the picture here. She seems a bit too upset over this. It makes me wonder if Oscar had the right suspicion, wrong guy and that’s why she was so scared. Maybe it hit too close to home and she was realizing what she was going to lose if Oscar found out. Maybe back then she still cared.

This was so hard to watch. She was truly doing anything to make him feel better and confident in what they have. Really raw and had no place being posted to the world.

This whole relationship was a toxic mess from the start. They got together through cheating which is a terrible thing to do, had kids at way too young of an age, went through all of this drama and accusations of other people trying to hook up with Kyra while she was with Oscar, then from there apparently they got into constant arguments and could never agree on things. After all this Kyra gets with Preston, decides to dump Oscar and throw away their entire family they had created for years since they were teens. Now all of this will be showcased for everyone to see on the internet forever.

If my husband did this exact thing to me I would probably react the same way. Neither of us have or would ever cheat. But she thought it was very real and was an incredibly uncomfortable situation for her. I feel bad for her honestly in this.

It’s been very very well known that Kyra has mental health struggles so this prank was just too far. He should’ve known she couldn’t handle this emotionally. I have been on Oscar’s side through this entire endeavor but I remember watching this when it was new and thinking he did her dirty. It was so cruel and mean.

So I just rewatched this and when Oscar tells her it's just a prank that Todd had feelings for her, she literally says "how it cheating, you said cheating is too far" and Oscar says no one's cheating and she said yes but your saying I'm cheating" this is how the truth came out because Oscar had suspicions of her talking to someone else but it was really Preston the whole time!! Damn. So crazy.

Honestly as part of an ex manupilative and toxic relationship, I feel for her. Because if my partner came in my shop to beat up and fight another dude that allegedly likes me, I would do ANYTHING to stop him, to calm the waters and to avoid disasters (like my partner getting into jail for hurting another person when we have children), and I would have even abandoned my job, and faked being calm to calm him down, but after the whole thing if he told me it was a joke I would have broke down too, from the emotions that I had to "hold back" to calm him down, and from the fact that I would have literally dropped and fully abandoned a passion of mine, a shop that I worked on for months or years for a dickhead that wanted to do a "silly prank", I get her reaction and the way she broke down, and I am sorry for her, she seems like a shitty person but in this video she was a victim.

As an (adult) child of two parents currently dealing with domestic violence (my mother abusing my father), this video is HIGHLY concerning for so many reasons. The fact that physical domestic violence when done by a female, especially towards a male, is not shocking should scare so many people! Domestic violence from women against men needs to be taken as seriously as if it were the other way around. Take this coming from someone who feared my mom was going to end my father’s life. Things escalate so quickly! If it was the other way around (Oscar hitting and shoving Kyra- regardless of the reason) many more would be concerned.

Not a fan of Kyra clearly but to me her response in this feels like she was scared he was going to do something dangerous or ridiculous not that she was guilty. He seemed so worked up and it seemed like she was just trying to deescalate to me

When she mentions that they have kids I’m pretty sure she’s trying to convey to him to watch what he does and to not do anything illegal (I.e - don’t hurt him you have kids that need you to stay out of jail) lol

*IF she was not in on it her reaction to him saying Todd(?) sent him a weird message and he needed to talk to her right away is REALLY REALLY TELLING. She was scared, not confused. Why the f would she be scared unless she thought she knew what he said?? Hmmmmmmmmm*

26:25 its not really weird lol coming from someone who deals with severe anxiety/panic attacks (which Kyra has stated she has as well) we are for some reason extremely cool and collected in The moment of extreme stress or some kind of terrible situation. Its when our bodies feel that release of "fight mode" that you literally have a breakdown. Its bizarre and may not be the case for everyone who deals with it but that's at least my experience.

When all of this happened I thought it was something going on. Just the way they acted. She was always at work. And they acted funny around each other. Thern he left all of a sudden.

What's weird is that Todd says he didn't want to do this. No one forced him to do anything. He made the choice to go along. And his motive is to prove that nothing's going on? That makes your actions more suspicious! And Kyra, I don't think she's in on it. But I think her eagerness to leave is to protect what has going within that sphere (like perhaps something with Todd) and to prevent Oscar from noticing something that'll tip him off to the truth.

To be honest, before the break-up video, I was suspicious of Todd and Kyra, and knowing what we know now, I think you're right about Kyra possibly being in on this prank. It's a lousy cover-up, but I agree that Oscar tends to be a bit naive, and seeing his anxiety leading up, he may have been suspicious, and this was just a way for Oscar to suppress the truth and move on because it would be too painful to deal with....this prank video did not age well at all.

If my husband pulled a prank on me like this I would be hysterical! I’ve never even entertained another man…but the thought that someone could lie and potentially manipulate my husband into leaving me would scare the shit out of me. You know what’s REALLY weird though.. my narc ex would say things like “ok fine let’s just leave” or “no I don’t have feelings for ____ let’s just go home” whenever we were out at a bar and something shady went down. I lied to my husband about a guy trying to kidnap at a bar. I was out with a friend, it was just supposed to be us but her asshole boyfriend showed up with his friend who kept hitting on me after I made it clear I was happily married. Then when I wanted to leave he tried to force me into an Uber with him to go to another bar. Said I owed him because he bought me a drink that I refused btw, not that it matters because no one owes anyone shit just for a drink. I lied because I was afraid of what he would do. Looking back I should have just told the truth because then he thought I cheated when he actually found out what happened. But I understand why Kyra lied about him Todd being there.

As someone who has been watching them from the beginning, Kyra was also going through postpartum at this point because she had just given birth to Avery, so she was going through a lot. The reason she was doing that business was mainly because she really wanted an outlet and have a way to be herself outside of being a mom. Which as a mom, I can understand exactly how she felt. Also, the reason they couldn't "just fire" Todd was because he partially owned the company. I definitely don't agree with anything surrounding their situation now, however that particular time I feel that it was all genuine in her part.

I would be absolutely ENRAGED if I were her. The problem we have is that we're looking at this through mature, adult eyes. They're young, far from mature and enveloped in the culture of social media... It is weird, but in the culture of "pranks for clout", it seems fairly 'standard' behaviour.
