I never believed he fell in love Garner. I think they worked together before he and JLo worked together, and he fell in love with JLo. He only said that schmut about Garner as a cover up for that shotgun wedding to save face. He was never IN love with her. Maybe she was, but he was always looking at JLo as you could tell over the years, it was so obvious. Garner was just to clean up his "image and appeal."
