SocrPro.com - FREE Soccer coaching Software interview Jason Goumas about his amazing treatment process to rapidly solve the Osgood-Schlatter problem experienced by so many youth athletes.
I had it from the age of 11 until 15 . I'm now 46 and had a lot of problems with my knees since. Including bursitis on both knees had them bursas removed as they were just filling and leaking fluid in to my ankles lower knees are still the size of tennis balls
I’ve been playing soccer since I was like 5 years old and I haven’t been able to play that much due to this injury. The doctor said I have tibial tubercle bursitis, im not sure if it’s the same as osd but I do have the bony bump below the patella. I didn’t do anything to recover from it until 2 weeks ago where I started therapy, (hot pack 15 mins and electric shocks for 20 mins), I have also been doing stretches everyday as my doctor said to do it. However It’s been the same and I’m seeing no improvement, is there anything wrong with my approach to this?
I have osgood and I have being seeing a physiotherapist. He has told me to ice 10 minutes then heat 10 minutes for 3/4 times a day. And to apply some creams and sprays and do some stretching and exercises. You should try this it would definetly help your osgood
