"Death can only take away your TV" lol..so true. In today's age most part of humanity have become internet addicts, facebook, twitter etc. That includes myself too, just can't imagine how much time I've wasted on 'social networking' instead of actually socializing with people physically!
Yeah but social media is a very powerful tool of joining people all over the world. It is useful only if you know how to use it. Greatest example is this channel itself. If it wouldn't have been for the social media would I have ever known osho?
it is so unbelievable how much osho has helped me. almost a year ago I was as dead as a corpse and now whenever he talks I just spew happiness from everywhere I am so grateful.
We need you in this time more than anything osho! People wasting their time right now in social media more than ever before something that never existed in your era
No the people I know are living through social media looking up to other people. They don’t know them though. But everyone are gurus now a days and know it all. I want to live in real life
Also wasting time working, how to live a good life? I had the best life but my boyfriend dumped me and now I want to literally die cause my heart hurts and I miss him every damn second.
Reading, Listening Osho makes me go whirls, he is damn crazy. I still believe, he is living soul. He has touched and opened the concept of spirituality, where it is only limited to some extent
I love this man. I love you Osho, with all my heart, with all my soul. Thanks a lot for your message, you can't imagine how grateful i am. World needs less politicians, less priests, less generals etc. world needs more Osho's and we must work in ourselves to make it real. I'm a preacher of his message and i try to share with all the people that i know all that i have learned reading his books and watching his videos. I would love to work and give my life in this proposal, so, OSHOInternational, anything you need, please, contact me and i will be available. Peace and love to all of you, another world is possible.
I don't think he has anything against watching TV he is simply trying to tell us to be mindful that we don't live life through it. That we also enjoy life as we are here in the now and be active and not just be passive simply observing
It is not what he says that matters. It is what he doesn't say that makes all the difference. it is the quiet spots like in music that makes the difference here. In the quiet anticipation that the truth is revealed. Listen to the quiet spots.
in 50 years we spend 10 years (16hrs a day) just watching TV. Ten full years of your whole life you watch TV. No matter what Osho says here, think about 10 years you sit there watching other people acting. Since my TV is turned off, since I don't care of news or anything, my life is rich and great. Now think about when this video was filmed. It is so true and fits perfectly into our time.
@@kanishka8416 he didn't say 16 hrs everyday literally. He said over a period of 50 years. It was a study done some time ago, just google it. In short people watch 16*10*365 hours of tv in 50-60 years average.
I wonder what he would say about today's 'smart phone addicts' who spend 3/4 of their time on social media... I feel that's a great threat than watching movies. I love Osho and his discourses.
He is not against watching tv, it the amount of time wasting life. When watch move in present moment, you are living life anyway. But when there too much, people became dumb.
Watching much TV is stopping us from actually doing it in our life. It makes us feel like we are in ....., even if we are not in. Similar is with success stories.
But there are movies which inspire us to sing, love, dance, and experience life with all its colors... They awaken our talents... Our inner treasures. Those movies are worthy.
Why turn what he is saying into an absolute statement? I feel it's only when people resign to living their life through the tv or computer that they lose touch with the reality. Watching a good movie or tv show you thoroughly enjoy is different than mindlessly searching the channels, trying to find something half appealing to kill your life's time away. As long as you are enjoying whatsoever you're doing, you can't go wrong.
Absolutely correct,Pal.I have been searching a comment like this.I am also a great fan of Osho. But,it doesn't mean that whatever he is saying is absolute upto the mark.Even I am also a TV enjoyer. It actually doesn't make any sense that we will not be able to live happily really if we are watching TV.It is a statement which makes no sense at all.If we can enjoy song and dance, why not movies?.It is also a form of art.Right? We can enjoy and do anything that makes us happy unless it becomes disturbance for others.Osho is not an absolute master!!!!.
Osho Rajneesh rocks..no body can speak like him not even JOKIR NAIK If someone really shows little interest he will be edicted to his speach even when he is not around..
If you want to live differently then turn wish into practice. Thinking about actions in the future won't get you anywhere: think about actions in the present instead, and do.
Well, this is really important. Alll of us can find ourselves in watching something not connected with us. And our children? And internet? We can know the difference between doing and watching; will they be able to do it?
How? The only person I’ve loved has dumped me and my biggest fear is he likes a close friend of mine, which will literally kill me. I hate to work and I’m not doing anything. But everyone around me only work work out and watch tv so. But it seems more interesting on social media
