OSHO: The Coolness of Love 

I only discovered him and I cried at almost each of his lectures I heard so far... But I have no idea WHY I was crying; all I know is that it was my soul's tears I felt running down my face

eyes are reflection of the soul.....his face shines with radiance ..proof that .he has tasted the nectare.....

I sat in satsang with Osho in Rajneeshpuram. He looked at me one day and I entered into the emptiness and depth of his eyes. There was only awareness and silence between us. So beautiful and blissful. That eternal moment is with me forever. Also got to see him during his drive-by each day. Wonderful. Otherworldly. All love and gratitude 🙏 Osho. Ever since you gave me my spiritual name, Narottama, in 1979. I love so many beautiful responses and recognition to his talks. Its great to see after so much false ideas in America. His blessings to you 🙏 all.

"Passion is heart. But passion is not love. Passion is an effort to use the other for your own biological and sexual needs. And the man who has renounced passion becomes cold, ice cold, almost dead. Love is just in between these two extremes. Love is not cold, and love is not hot. It is a cool breeze, a fresh breeze, early morning breeze. When it comes to you, you feel almost again young, again fresh, as if suddenly you have taken a shower. Passion uses the other, that is why passion is continuously a fight. So-called passionate lovers, both are trying to use the other. Love does not use the other. It gives its own heart to the other. It is not a desire to get something, but a longing to share something. One is full of peace and silence and joy and wants to share it with those who are close to him. They may be friends, they may be husbands, wives, children, father, mother, anybody. But love has an immense coolness about it. But very few people have attained to the coolness of love. Either they are hard and passionate, or when they become tired and bored of this heat, they turn to the opposite. They become ice cold, frozen. Mind has a way of moving like a pendulum, from one extreme to another extreme. That’s how the clock runs, by the pendulum moving from one extreme to another extreme. If the pendulum stops in the middle, it will be coolness of love. And if the pendulum stops in the middle, the clock will also stop. In another way, I can say, in the moments of cool love you feel that time has stopped. There is no movement, everything has stopped. It is so silent, that there is not even a ripple on the lake of your consciousness. My longing is to fill this whole world with cool love. And through cool love we can give birth to a new man, to a new humanity, which is urgently needed. And I hope that man has enough intelligence and he will not choose death. He will choose a different style of life, without conflicts, without wars, full of peace which posits understanding. Man will not prove so retarded to destroy himself. The greatest thing that can happen to save humanity is the coolness of love, friendliness. Passion burns you down. And in the same way, the frozen man is already dead. Love keeps you alive, and coolness keeps you young and fresh. Man can have such a beautiful planet, and such a beautiful humanity. Just a little understanding is needed. And I think that understanding is arising, slowly but constantly. If you can understand me, then everybody else in the world can also understand me. Maybe it will take a little more time for it, but there has been never a time before when understanding was needed so much because now understanding is equivalent to life. It is no small matter. "

Can't believe someone with so much power and clarity walked the sands of this earth.

I have read and listened to almost all the known sages since ancient Greek to gurus in India etc. none if them had any answer to my quest. All if them were right, yet none of them was telling the truth. but once found Osho, I no longer call them sages. Rajneesh is the one and only true sage ever lived. We are so lucky that we found him.

So it means that there is a risk anyway, then why do not trust from the heart, heart to heart with the conscience of love and if we are wrong.
