Cole palmer hasn’t missed a penalty for Chelsea since we signed him, and then goes up and takes Englands first penalty and the rest is history, yous are very lucky to have him, I’m not English
I'd take a bloody one if he's decent, but I'd prefer he shower first. That said, we really need to offload some bloody keepers before buying even more of them.
@@JustCvke nah that guy got serious ADHD. He's talented but it only takes 3 high profile concentration lapses to ruin his confidence. And we'll be back to where we are next season plus an overpaid GK by this time next year. Mamardashvilli and Costa are the ideal options.
@@GLORYInintact shows how little you know about him dude and how little you watched the euros first of all he saved 3 penalties against Slovenia secondly he saves about 1 in 3 penalties taken against him and that’s decent and third the other year Diogo Costa set the record for the highest number of penalties saved in a row in a single group phase of the UEFA Champions League. Do some research before trolling dude.
Toney could be the perfect teacher for Jackson and partner for Nkunku. However if we can get shot of Lukaku @ 300k a week and get Osimhen in on 190, it has to be considered a good option.
@@baxl7253 Well, I still think that's an unnecessary expense when they have Nkunku, Jackson, Guiu, etc., and I think Maresca might prefer to play a false nine, rather than a guy like Toney, who wants crosses in the air.
I have no doubt Osimhen would succeed at Chelsea. He has that grit, that will to succeed. Look at what he did for Napoli. They were nothing even competing before he became their primary striker. He couldn't do that again I believe because of change of coaches and injury. Also, he grew unhappy at Napoli because of the social media thing. But he was still able to score 17 goals in 32 appearances. If you doubt him, check his stats. He did not just start to do this. He scored 20 goals in the Belgian league. I believe he would be our Haaland if we get him. My only worry is his wages and transfer fees might hinder the deal from happening
I Feel Nkunku Can Be Our Number 1 Striker.....Him And Palmer And Jackson Honestly Can Be A Devastating Front 3......I Was Looking For Us To Replace Mudryk And Disasi Since The Window Open....Selling Disasi Would Upgrade Us....And Sell Mudryk Would Upgrade Us.....And By Signing Nico Williams Would Upgrade Us....But These Sporting Directors Sick Me....They Can't Sell Them
Well, its pretty hard. Napoli is already talking to PSG and it looks like that they have the money to pay the 100 million. But osimhen wants premier league
Am i the one who isn't a big fan of Yan reading articles? I enjoy the videos up until that point but usually stop watching if it starts looking like it will be a long read. I don't mind a quick summary of an article but something about it being read in detail just puts me off. Big fan of the channel otherwise Yan. Just a bit of feedback for you I guess.
For me it's a double edged sword any deal with Napoli would almost certainly mean a deal with Lukaku going the other way I am particularly desperate to put the Lukaku mistake behind us but on the other sand signing Osimhen means two of our three Strikers would be going to AFON at the same time that is the benefit besides the Homegrown quota to signing Tony who I think would also be much more open to competing with Jackson for starting or possibly playing together than Osimhen who will absolutely believe that he should start every game he's available if he comes to Chelsea
I want Ivan Toney, I've said that for a long time. I think he could really be something special at chelsea, with Palmer, they both have ice in their veins. Both hugely dynamic and both amazing finishers!
I don’t understand the Toney take, I’m sure contract and wages can be taken cared of. He came back from a ban to make the Euro squad, he definitely not a slouch and prem experienced. Osimhen I will agree about the cost, our board is not over spending anymore. But both are great options and alpha male leader we need in this team
If Toney is available, much better option than Osimhen although the betting issues question his character which is key when you are investing so much. We need grown-ups with integrity. Must be better options out there.
If we're serious about going toe to toe with Arteta & Pep like THE OWNERS SAID then we simply have to get #9🇳🇬. • Signing Ugochukwu is like signing Guiu • Signing Jackson is like signing Lavia • Then signing CAICEDO is like signing #9🇳🇬. #Levels Hope this doesn't draw out as long as the Caicedo saga but i wouldn't be surprised if it does☹️.
Toney wants Arsenal. Osimhen wants the bag. Chelsea has been shopping in the bargain bin for Samu Omorodion. But Atletico wants the max. Jonathan David.
I look at Osimhen (who couldn't match his 22/23 season form and actually had a relatively poor season both with Napoli and at AFCON) and see another potential Lukaku situation in the making, so not for me I'm afraid. IF and it's a big IF, Maresca feels the need for another striker Toney has to be a better option and knows The Premiership. However it's not a priority IMO given the players we already have available within the club.
I think Chelsea should consider signing Ramsdale if they aren't going to sign someone like Costa or Pickford who we keep getting linked to when we aren't linked to random young keepers. Ramsdale would be an upgrade over our current keepers and i really rate him.
Yes, would like Osi if we get him for cheap and he don't want mad wages (above 200k). All though, if we do go for Osi he will expect to be the main man, obviously. Toney is also a very interesting one and an older head who Nico Jackson could learn from and rotate with. He also knows the league already and should probably be pretty affordable all things considered.
I have faith in Nico to lead the line next season. Nkunku as false 9 is a good option. Guiu as 3rd choice and play the conference and LC. That's fine by me. But if we are to get a striker, get an older player on the cheap who can be trusted to play the last 20 mins, finish a chance and give some experience and game management up front. Like Guirassy, or Joselu.
We had faith in Drogba, but it didn't stop Chelsea from buying Shevchenko, Torres,Anelka, Crespo etc .. and guess what? Drogba embraced the competition and kept his shirt! We must make Jackson fight for the shirt too, that will help him mentally to handle pressure, Chelsea fans needs to stop being that overprotective mum,
Osimhen had one £80m season, and lots of £50m seasons. So for me he's £50m and £170k per week. Can't see it happening. Not sure Toney fits the system to be honest, and obviously doesn't fit the 'project'. So the management would need to change their approach to get a short term 'now' player. Can't see it happening. Whether people agree with the plan or not, we should stick with it. For sure having a plan and not sticking with it isn't often a recipe for success.
We will enjoy Osimhen, the greedy here is not Napoli but the club thinking to come here as at Tesco’s and get all our top players for free pr cheap, 120 Mlns. Cash in limited time full cash and no overrated ridiculous swaps (Lukaku) is the only way to get him, plus Napoli choose what to do with their player and when and no one from arrogant outside can tell us what to do, this is the real price, take or pr leave it! 🤫
We saw a great up tick after Christmas which could be proof that the system is/was working. This all blew up poch being moved on but it seems now we are moving back to a situation like when potter came in. The squad is going to need to be thinned out massively. Some 1st team players are needed to be moved on very soon to accommodate all the incomings.
Anyone know the answer? We have a friendly in America with Real Madrid on 7th August but we have a third round qualifying match in the UEFA Conference League on 8th August. How is that supposed to work?
Whenever we sign a big name striker there goes with it massive pressure. I wouldn’t be excited by Osiman, Toney for reasonable money would be ok. I liked what I was seeing from Jackson towards the end of the season. If he had scored in the FA cup semi we would be talking about him a lot more positively. Jackson, Nkunku, Guiu can be effective enough. If we spend big it should be on a keeper, Diogo Costa or Maingen from AC.
@@moetipefole9500 Unfortunately yes - he is the worst striker Chelsea have had in 20 years. He misses so many, and rarely scors goals that "matter" - so although on the surface he had a respectable return of 14 league goals this season - the context of those goals must be noted. 25 Aug v Luton. 3rd goal of a 3v0 win. Effectively meaningless. 7 Oct v Burnley. 4th goal of a 4v1 win. Effectively meaningless. 6 Nov v Spurs. Hatrick. Goals 2, 3 and 4 in a 4v1 win. Goals in the 94th and 97th min as spurs went all out attack despite having 2 players sent off. The winning goal, with the other 2 adding to the gloss, but effectively meaningless. 12 Nov v Man City. Our 3rd goal in a 4v4 draw. A big goal 15 April v Everton. 4th goal in a 6v0 win - Effectively meaningless. 5 May v West Ham. Goal 4 and 5 in 5v0 win. Effectively meaningless. So out of 14 goals - 7 were effectively meaningless and made no difference to the outcome. He is rubbish.
It's a squad game. Having him as a squad player who can come on at 60 minutes to let a #1 striker have a rest, is fine. Plus he's fine on the left wing, so he gives tactical options coming off the bench.
🎉Osimhen is the real deal if we want a world class 9. Apart from scoring goals and his younger age compared to Toney, Osimhen does many other things needed in modern football.
Why are we looking for avenues to shut out Jackson. The young player need to play to improve. Also how big is the squad now and how many are signed and to join next season? Its going to be like when Potter was in charge. Too many player and options, Winstanly and the other geerza arent the manger and seem to not have much of an idea on dealing with whats already inside Chelsea. The way they are running isnt sustainable.
I don’t want any strikers oshimen price is too high wages as well and I trust Jackson and guiu so much toney is too old for our project we already have a penalty taker so he doesn’t offer much besides experience. I just want a winger or a gk preferably Antonio Nusa or Westley who are on our radars then gk Costa is probably too expensive so maybe the Georgian gk, trubin
Why not just reduce osimhen wages then any other increment can come from performances (goals, assists, matches played ) , that’s the more ideal solution to me but that’s if he’ll settle for it 😂
I’d sign osimhen on OUR terms. He doesn’t get to demand 250-300k a week that he doesn’t warrant off the back of last season and we get to palm them off with lukaku and 40-60 million, otherwise no thanks and as for Toney, I really like and rate the player but he’s totally wrong for us. Not in the age bracket we are after and he’s used to playing without the ball and plays as a striking pair frequently so he’d have to adapt to possession based football and leading the line on his own. It’s a no from me. I don’t think we will sign a striker, we will get a wide player probably nobody has heard of or someone like an Antonio nusa (I’d rate that signing) but only will we get osimhen if lukaku goes the other way otherwise I can’t see it.
You seem to be ignorant of Victor Osimehn massive talent, far better than any striker in Europe at the moment. It's much better than Tony and worth much more than 100m.
Yeah, I think we should stop talking about Osihmen now. Di Laurentiis' greed must not be accommodated. Toney for £35 m would be a much better investment.
I feel like cole getting snubbed likenthis is good for his career and England going forward as we all know how cole reacts when he feels game time injustice.. i say he come back next euros as a 25 year old withba point to prove internationally .. i dont mind him being snubbed his young
Please sign Osimhen. He's being offered at the a similar price Højlund and Nunez came for and he wants to come to Chelsea and we can get him cheaper because of Lukaku. Please God sign Osimhnen as he isn't a gamble like Omorodian. Toney isn't scoring goals in the premier league so wouldn't pick him plus we don't need more people fighting for penalties.. Omorodion reminds me too much of Jackson but for twice the money and less games which seems like a rip off. He's currently not worth more than 25-30 million tops as he's never even played for Atletico Madrid as they loan him out. Osimhen is definitely an upgrade over Jackson but Omorodian is currently too similar.
“ We don’t need more people fighting for penalties” is the quote of the day for me - this is what any incoming striker needs to be told by the manager that Palmer takes the penalties.
Okay, people tell me if you agree with Lukaku in exchange for Osimhan and some money like $65mill or something, and if he wants to come CFC then he accepts less wages!
Osimhen has an attitude problem, could disrupt the dressing room and a big price tag has a way of clipping a players ability to thrive. I’ll take a toney option
Ivan Toney come at a cheaper salary/transfer fee and is already PL proven. I would pay up to £85m for Osiemen and increase our salary cap up to £250k. If he is willing to take that salary, yes I would sign him. Both would be great signings.
Look, i would have Osihmen even at 85m and 200k! Or even better, let's do a swap and get rid of Lukaka and his wages of the books. It's a win-win, plus we get goals. Which is what we were missing last year ffs, we would have had CL football if we had someone who could put the ball in the back of the net. Fact
Toney is good but too old for us. Spain & England finals bound to happen then I think or expect Spain to win this trophy best team of the tournament so far if you ask me
We have enough players who can play ST Jackson had 17 in all comps in his first season and looks to be perfect for the Maresca system, Guiu and Nkunku As good as Toney is. If you take away he’s penalty goals it’s average numbers We NEED a GK. Mamadashvilli (or how ever is spelt) Valencia GK
I would go Tony he knows the premiership my only reservation with Tony he seems a little lazy just my observation on the games he’s played for England doesn’t seem to put himself about too much just putting it out there!,
Palmer could start for England. If theyre playing 3 x CB you dont need 3 holder. Could play Walker, Stones plus one CB, Shaw LWB, Saka at RWB. Bellingham next to Rice in the 2. Foden and Palmer behind Kane. Be positive. You could easily convert to a 4231 in game with those players too if you wanted to.
This is NOT a diagnosis and I am NOT a qualified psychiatrist, but Cole Palmer exhibits some typical Psychopath traits. I'm glad he puts them to such positive use like not feeling any sort of pressure in such tense moments! 🎉
ur not qualified to say anything but are going to claim someone you have never met, diaplays psychipathic traits 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ wtf got anymore diagnoses on people u've never met??
Striker is the most overrated/overvalued position on the pitch. They touch the ball the least and most teams get it wrong a majority of the time. I think nkunku is better than both of those guys. Don't waste the money.
