Ospreys are large brown-and-white raptors that hunt for fish over large lakes, rivers, and seacoasts. In flight they hold their wings with a noticeable crook at the wrist.

Very nice video, just became an Osprey fan this summer. Not sure why I never noticed them before, but they are amazing!

Great video, just what I was looking for, I saw a bird outside my house flying really low and it had really long wings and white parts and this is exactly the same

i've been using the merlin bird ID app the last two days and both days was lucky enough to come across an osprey- then i google "osprey in flight" to confirm another sighting (when not using the app lol) and of course the result i get is from this channel! amazing. superb resources:) i love it!

I'm in the Denver metro area and wasn't sure what kind of birds I'd seen. They were huge, more than 6' wing span and there were at least 4 flying in tight formation. The biggest birds I'd ever seen were cranes but these were nothing like cranes. They had substantial bodies and they glided. My cat saw them and looked shocked. I looked up and saw them flying in formation down my street I thought they might be drones. They looked so big I thought they would need a landing strip. It was driving me crazy wondering what they were. Finally I looked it up on Google and the description was pretty crazy but yielded results. I'd described the body like a trout and Google showed osprey and it was carrying a trout. Then I saw albatross and wondered if it could be that.

We don’t have any albatrosses in mainland North America. My guess based on your description would be turkey vultures.
