Quite a few years ago we tried to hike the Osprey Heights Trail, but left it too late in the day to start so only managed the very first part of the trail. We meant to go back, however life kinda got in the way of that happening. Thanks for showing the lookout. Very nice to see father and daughter enjoying the trails and paddling together. Making great memories no doubt!
I've never tried the hammock for a whole night, I suspect I would not be very comfortable. They are great space-saving accommodations though! Thanks for watching.
That really is quite the mansion! Ha ha. I like campgrounds with some privacy between you and your neighbors. Looked like a cool trail to hike and I liked that they had a nice boardwalk for a portion of it. The lake was pretty and of course it is always nice to be able to spend some quality time with your daughter. 😊👍
Avoiding the crowds is the way to go! Nice kayaking waters. Beautiful forest great views of the lake, even though you didn't get the views at the top, it was still really nice 😊

i remember naively thinking Osprey Heights was easy during the boardwalk portion my first time hiking it too! It's a much nicer winter/spring trail, especially when the runoff is pouring down that granite wall. I've also camped on the Crystal Lake site with my son, brother in law and niece a couple years ago and we loved it.
That's a good tip about the spring runoff on that granite wall. I wouldn't mind revisiting it to have another look. Thanks for watching and commenting!
That was pretty cool kayaking under the road. Nice hike and when you went under the downed tree I could hear my own hip pop,lol! Decent view of the lake and I know too well the let down of going higher in hopes of a better view but as I always say''There's no such thing as a bad hike''. Great to see you out with your daughter. Love the name "Osprey Heights." Looks like a beautiful park! We hope to make it up to Canada someday! Hopefully in the next few years. The canoeing looked fun. The trail was nice! Fallen trees are always a fun obstacle. LOL! The views from the lookout at the top were pretty with all the trees. The granite wall was neat. We have those in the Black Hills on a few trails. The boardwalks and stairs reminded us of the Trail of the Spirits in Sica Hollow State Park in Sisseton, South Dakota. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day!

The first time my wife got in a canoe I had taken her on Antrim lake. I was told the park is not maintaining the trail very well, I guess it's not all that bad yet! See ya Daryl✌
The park looks like a real gem - especially with the paddling opportunities and the sandy beach. It also didn’t look like you had any traffic on the rustic Osprey Trail. Too bad that you found it underwhelming - but from a viewer’s perspective the look out seemed very decent. And isn’t half the fun ‘getting there’? We were there years ago and did that trail. It looks like it’s not nearly as well maintained these days. Not a long trail - the park needs to send a crew out for the day to clean things up!
