I know I'm late to this but absolutely excellent review! Your attention to detail was as thoughtful as Osprey's design for the Radial (I do wish that front mesh had a minimal form of securing it like the Tropos though!!).

Thanks! Maybe put your tools in one of the side water bottle pockets? It would be secure, easy access, and it sounds like you have at least one available/empty. Is there a place for hydration bladder, maybe in the laptop compartment? I don’t see a place for it.
Hey Jonathan, In general I like having the tools hidden as much as possible but easy to access whenever needed. I use the side pocket for tools on the Metron since the bottom pocket is too small to fit them all. No dedicated place for a hidration bladder, I'm afraid.
Hi there! I have 2 questions: because the backpack is designed to ride a bike, is comfortable when you have to come back to your feet and walk around whit some load? And also what about the water bottle side pocket at 45 degrees? Did the bottle ever jump off the pocket? Great review by the way! Greetings from Argentina
Hola Ezequiel! I use it for hikes and other activities off the bike as well. I find it very comfortable enough, even though it's most comfortable when you're on the bike. The bottle sits in the pocket quite snug and it's quite deep too. There's no way it can accidentally fall out. Saludos y suerte!
Buenas hombre! I have some other Osprey backpacks and while i agree with BCH that the bottle will not escape there are two issues with actually using the angled bottle mesh. My 1l camelbak bottle pokes me in the ribs if i use the pocket that way and its also quite uncomfortable to actually take the bottle out of your bag while the bag is on your pack.
